60186476 | about 7 years ago | Thanks for adding this house! To tell us that it's a house, make sure you pick "House" from the list of options on the left of the editor. Also, try right-clicking the house and pick the "Square" option to square up the corners of the house.

60186462 | about 7 years ago | Hi there! Thanks for adding to OSM. This area doesn't look like a park, it looks like an extension of the school area. I deleted the park you added, but please continue adding to the map!

58738109 | about 7 years ago | Hi Landon, please don't use language like that. |
58363452 | over 7 years ago | It isn't. |
58420366 | over 7 years ago | Thanks for adding this! For others that are looking at this changeset, make sure you're using recent imagery. The DigitalGlobe Standard layer shows a roundabout. |
58380666 | over 7 years ago | Hi! Thanks for adding these details to the map. Please note that it's sufficient (and preferred) to only include the areas for a thing in the park. You don't also need to include points. I'm going to remove those duplicates. |
58375526 | over 7 years ago | Welcome to OSM! It looks like you edited a residential area and turned it into a park rather than modifying the park. |
58020226 | over 7 years ago | Hello! It looks like you added details about a house to the street instead of a new node next to the street. I reverted your change, but please feel free to add the data again on a node instead of the street. |
57754161 | over 7 years ago | Hi friends! Let's take this discussion out of the changeset comments and into a more public place. What do you think about posting a question to the talk-us mailing list? There are also several folks on the OSM US Slack that would be happy to talk through this. |
56833916 | over 7 years ago | Ok, great. I adjusted the access restrictions for that section of road. Is there a gate or anything at the point you edited? We can add that, too. |
56833916 | over 7 years ago | Thanks for letting us know about this! Is it Badger Street that ends or the walkway? Which direction is closed? I don't see anything in the aerial imagery that helps there. |
56496210 | over 7 years ago | In this particular case, the overall area of the park should be labeled "Park". If there are parts inside of it that are other types, then they should be drawn separately. Also, although it sounds like Niantic uses OSM for their maps, it's not clear *how* they use OSM for their maps. So we can't help you make your game work better – we're trying to keep our map correct. |
56496210 | over 7 years ago | Hi iTz Jesse James! No one's trying to offend you here, we're just trying to protect the map against mappers who seem to be maliciously changing the map to affect their Pokemon Go game. That's not what OpenStreetMap is for, and if we're short when we give you feedback it's because there are lots of folks who are making destructive edits. |
56496210 | over 7 years ago | Reverted in osm.org/changeset/56506959 |
54639207 | over 7 years ago | freebeer, does your "o" key not work? Why are you using the zero key so much? |
56334751 | over 7 years ago | When you mark buildings, make sure you online outline the building, not the whole property.

56334714 | over 7 years ago | A public bath is different than a swimming pool. This looks like a swimming pool.
|
56334667 | over 7 years ago | Hi! Thanks for editing OSM. This lake already existed before you added your version of it. I'm going to delete your version.

56334418 | over 7 years ago | Welcome to OSM! Thanks for adding the parking lot. Instead of putting "parking lot" in the name field, search for "parking lot" in the presets field and pick the preset for parking lot so the object is correctly labeled.
|
56334570 | over 7 years ago | Hi! Welcome to OSM. Instead of typing "house" in the name field, search for "house" in the presets field so that it sets the tags correctly.
