First of all, i don't hvae any GPS device, because i only earn an amount of possibly 2-3 US Dollars a day. I only depend on my own local knowledge. Second of all, there are some streets that aren't aligned, and sometimes are out of place.
And I can't coordinate with the local authorities related to "mapping out" areas of San Pablo City due to my "busy schedule". (Note: What i'm talking about is the San Pablo City in the Philippines and its coverage is quite messy.)
Hopefully, you have a GPS device and try to drive in the streets of San Pablo City and nearby areas (and possibly a good portion of the CALABARZON area) I appreciate your help.

Technical devices like GPS are not essential for mapping a city where streets are already visible.
Do these streets have a paved surface or not?
Are they made for two cars (residential road), hardly one car (service road) or just one moped (Cycleway)?
Are there footpaths between these streets?
Are there many churches, schools etc in that area? If they cover an entire block, they could be mapped as area.
Does the railroad have level crossings or bridges?
There is a lot to do in that area, even within walking distance (1 km).
However, if walking is dangerous there, you should not do that.

Ian,
I have a pending request with the gpstogo program which I plan to loan to Pinoy mappers. I hope it gets granted by the OSM foundation soon. I can lend you my GPS if you want. Being so busy these days I can't do much mapping in the field, plus the fact that I believe I have covered most of the streets within my biking distance.
