We have done our first mapping party for OSM (Openstreetmap) in Liedolsheim/Graben-Neudorf. Yesterday we, that's Sven Krohlas (aka Sven423) and me, have started the first mapping party in this region. The weather was really nice for riding with our bikes and so we have mapped 20 kilometres of tracks between grade1 to grade5. For all those who haven't mapped before, here is a photo of a track with grade5:

Habe heute endlich den Verlauf der Pfinz von Graben-Neudorf nach Neuthard fertigezeichnet. Dachte wirklich da geht ein Weg entlang der Pfinz, aber das ist kein Weg, dass ist eine einfache Traktorspur und besteht hauptsächlich aus Matsch. Dementsprechend sah ich und mein Fahrrad aus.

Auf dem Rückweg hab ich dann noch einen Fahrradweg von Neuthard nach Graben-Neudorf erweitert und weitere Waldwege um Graben-Neudorf hinzugefügt. Aber es bleibt immer noch was zu tun rund um Graben-Neudorf.

Habe heute den Naturlehrpfad von Graben-Neudorf komplett fertig gemappt und dabei noch die umliegenden Waldwege im Waldgebiet mitgemacht. Demnächst werde ich wohl die Verlauf der Pfinz ab dem SEW Eurodrive Werk nach Karlsdorf mappen, dieser fehlt auch noch komplett. Auch die Dammwege am Saalbachkanal stehen dann als nächstes auf der Liste.

Ein genaues Micromapping einzelner POIs in Graben-Neudorf fehlen auch noch, auch diese werden dann nach und nach kommen.

Nachdem ich im letzten Post schon gemeint habe, dass ich die Wege rund um Graben-Neudorf erfassen will, habe ich mich heute auf den Weg gemacht um die Wirtschaftswege östlich von Graben-Neudorf zu mappen. Gleichzeitig hab ich dann auch noch einen Bug, der auf http://www.openstreetbugs.org eingetragen war, beseitigt.

Im nächsten Schritt werden dann die Schrebergärten (osm.org/?lat=49.16487&lon=8.47993&zoom=15&layers=B000FTF), auch östlich von Graben-Neudorf, erfasst. Da sind zwar schon irgendwelche Wege erfasst, sehen aber noch sehr unvollständig aus. Der Dammweg neben Saalbachkanal und die Wege in den darumliegenden Felder sind dann auch noch dran. :)

So, nachdem ich gestern die letzten Straßen in Graben-Neudorf gemappt habe, ist Graben-Neudorf straßentechnisch komplett erfasst. Jetzt gehts an die Kleinigkeiten einer Karte. Es sind zwar schon sehr viele Sachen gemappt, aber es fehlen immer noch eine Menge POIs, die ich auch noch mappen werde.

Es fehlen auch die Fahrradwege weg von Graben-Neudorf, als auch die Wege am Saalbachkanal entlang. Ist also noch eine Menge zu tun, auch wenn die Verkehrsstraßen endlich komplett sind.

Mein Hauptaugenmerk wird sich jetzt auf das Mappen von POIs konzentrieren und die Fahrradwege um Graben-Neudorf.

Today I rode with my bike around the Prestelsee in Graben-Neudorf and mapped the missing ways around it. I have seen that north of the lake the whole streets are missing, I think I will map those in the near future. The lake seems a little bit wrong in his shape. I will have a look at it in the same procedure as the streets in the north of it.

Would be better if Yahoo have better satelitte images of the area.

After I add names to streets and add some POIs in the past, I have done my first real logging and making a map today. It's really easy with JOSM to create maps, I have thought it would be more difficult. You can have a look at the result at the map link (the data are online, should be rendered the next few minutes/hours from t@h out there or from my own t@h client here ;) ). It's just a small park with the belonging footways. But it's a start. Maybe there will be some more streets, footways, POIs, etc. next weekend for Graben-Neudorf.

my first time writing an entry to my diary. :) I plan to do some mapping in Graben-Neudorf. There are nearly all streets mapped, but there are some errors, I try to fix those errors and map the missing streets and ways. I want to map the POIs I come around, too. I have seen, that the industrial section isn't mapped at all and the ways behind the Prestelsee aren't mapped, too. So there will be some work to do.
