My name is Josh Carlson.
I’m now the GIS Developer for Kendall County, Illinois. You can find my “work profile” under the the name Kendall County GIS.
Interests
I like to map a bit of everything, but have a particular interest in
- Pedestrian and cyclist infrastructure
- Accessibility tagging
- Micromapping
- That warm feeling when you fix really bad TIGER data
- Comprehensive highway tagging (lanes, surface, etc)
Mostly, I just want my local area to be really, really well mapped, and I’ll broaden out from there.
