Downtown Fort Worth and Dallas

Posted by jhbutcher on 3 September 2012 in English.

I’ve been working on downtown Fort Worth and Dallas lately, trying to get the building shapes more accurate, naming the buildings, putting in parking, pedestrian bridges, restaurants, theatres, etc.

You want to see some impressive work, look at downtown Oklahoma City (I didn’t do it).

I had messed around on the site a little, trying to learn how to do things. I saw that nobody had my alma mater - Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas so I thought I would give it a shot. I've put in most of the major buildings and I'm trying to add/fix things at a rate of a few a day. If you're currently a student there, check my work!

Somebody more familiar with how the campus looks today will need to update things that aren't in the Yahoo maps aerial photos (which look like they date back to 2003):
Texas Tech Parkway
the new business school building
the new student health center
the new plant and food science building
the experimental sciences building
that new outside thing they are building at the student rec center
