Hi Sanjeev,

I came across your edits in this changeset. Here are few points which I would like to put across:

- The buildings are not orthogonalised (tools -> orthogonalize)
- There are duplicated nodes. You can check that using the validator and fix it.

There is some excellent documentation about OSM here - http://learnosm.org/. You can learn more about OpenStreetMap here as-well - https://github.com/mapbox/mapping/wiki/Mapping-with-OpenStreetMap.

Best,

Jinal

Hi Famiras,

You have mentioned Google as the source. Can you please clarify in what context have you used Google?
You should not be using Google as a source of information for addition of any data on OSM. Look in here for more information - osm.wiki/FAQ#Why_don.27t_you_just_use_Google_Maps.2Fwhoever_for_your_data.3F

Thank you!
I have removed the entire path for now. Hopefully someone does the ground survey and update it. (osm.org/changeset/37839628)

Hi Kurly,

I came across few of your changesets like the current one where the roads seem to meet at a point. Is there a particular reason for this to happen so often?

Best,
Jinal Foflia

Hi Joseph08,

Welcome to OpenStreetMap, I came across your edit where you have added name of the road to a node. In OpenStreetMap road names are added to the existing road and not as a separate node on top of it.

If you intend to rename/name the roads in future, then you should be selecting the entire road and either edit the "name" if it already existing or add name tag to it.

Hi Dave-Breda,

As per your changeset comment, it looks like you have been updating company information using google search. If you have been using google search to update this information, I would like to inform you that it is against OSM mapping guidelines. You can find more information on which sources you can use for mapping and which you shouldn't be using in osm.wiki/Beginners_Guide_1.1 and also osm.wiki/FAQ#Why_don.27t_you_just_use_Google_Maps.2Fwhoever_for_your_data.3F
Going forward it’ll be great if you use a more valid source to add data in OSM. Message me or reply to this comment if you have any queries or doubts. Happy to help you at any time : )

Happy Mapping : )

Is this campground accessible? Since the gate tag says 'access=no'
