Why delete the parking lots?

"SR" is correct.

service=parking_aisle seems appropriate for those roads, and that sure looks unpaved in the imagery -- if you have a source that says otherwise please include it.

Elevation should be given in meters, not feet.

The barrier at osm.org/node/106057698 should be adjusted too, if this is to be a bicycle=permissive route.

I added a `barrier=gate` node at the location of the gate.

This changeset deleted McCormick road. iD would have shown a warning prior to saving. Please be careful.

Sure thing.

This area definitely includes three large apartment buildings (Cork Factory, The Yards at 3 Crossings, The Pennsylvanian), which might be good to detour around. I'd also stick to Liberty Ave and stay off of the busway/railway corridor.

What is the purpose of attaching a railway=abandoned to a road?

100867500 over 4 years ago

It also may constitute tagging for the renderer, but I would find it perfectly reasonable to give the Busway stops more prominence than bus stops on surface streets. There's some value in distinguishing these from regular bus stops.

> Does `amenity=bus_station` imply that this is a bus terminal?

The wiki says "A bus station consists of several bus stops, usually allowing people to travel in many different directions."

This is true of all the East Busway stops in a very narrow sense: Each stop consists of two stops about 200 feet apart; the routes which pick up and drop off along the busway use a different stop than the ones which are pick-up/discharge only.

This is also true of East Liberty Station in a different sense, as one may connect to the 75 on Ellsworth Avenue just in front of the busway station.

Similar to how "Dormont Junction" is technically a "Junction" because it contains a bus loop, even though the Red Line does not terminate or transfer to any other light rail there.

Not sure if this helps; my instinct would be to label this as "A big fancy bus stop", whatever that means, since it's ultimately just another stop along a linear corridor, albeit a high volume one.

Does the linked article have any use as a source or are you just pushing an agenda of some sort?
