Next time try square the buildings to make them look nicer. You can do this by pressing Q in iD when the building is selected.

Please try to keep changesets local or at least a bit smaller. Changeset bboxes this large spam the history feed and make checking other people's edits hard.

1) I wouldn't call service=driveway2 banned, just deprecated. If someone has a better tag for it, they are welcome to fix it, in my opinion.
2) Yes, if they really know what they are doing, as the wiki states.
3) I trust ZeLonewolf to have followed the proper procedures, as they are a very experienced mapper. I am not, so this is all my opinion.
