140742280 | almost 2 years ago | Hi ocwl, I am wondering what you intended by crossing=pedestrian_signals. I don't see this tag value documented anywhere. This crossing does not have any signals, just flashing lights. Vehicles must stop regardless of the flashing lights if pedestrians (or bicycles) are present. I believe crossing=uncontrolled is most accurate. Thoughts? Thanks,

140600755 | almost 2 years ago | Hi nyan,

140513279 | almost 2 years ago | Thanks for fixing this (and adding the explanation). I had previously misunderstood the guidelines for drawing intersections so I am sure there are several more like this. I have recently been working on improving intersection details in Vancouver so I hope to fix the rest of them when I see them. |
140476229 | almost 2 years ago | @WoodWoseWolf thank you for trying to fix this and submitting to the DWG. As an aside, how did you identify this? Are you specifically looking for this type of Pokemon Go vandalism? Thanks,

131851038 | almost 2 years ago | Hi ocwl, I was about to add these bike paths as separately mapped ways until I saw your note and thought I should reach out. Since we have mapped the rest of the bike paths in Vancouver as separate ways, I think it would be better to maintain consistency and do the same here. Any idea what in particular was confusing the routers? I would like to take another stab at this. Thanks,

139736928 | almost 2 years ago | Hi Sebasawk, thanks for splitting the road to reflect the dual carriageway east of Sperling Ave. It looks like you split it too far, however. I believe the two road directions should only be split when there is a physical divider between them. Thoughts? Thanks,
|
139673588 | almost 2 years ago | Hi E Peach and welcome to OpenStreetMap! I am a bit confused about what you are adding here - it looks like you have placed a music school in the middle of the forest? Is there something in the forest that would indicate this music school is here? Thanks,

139310394 | almost 2 years ago | Awesome. Thanks for your work! |
139310394 | almost 2 years ago | Hi nyanpsyche, I wouldn't add two amenity=fire_station areas, instead I would tag the building itself with building=fire_station while still tagging the area as amenity=fire_station. Thoughts? Joel |

Thank you,

139190627 | almost 2 years ago | Hi pnorman, can you help me understand how these don't meet the living street definition? They appear to be living streets to me: low speeds and shared space between pedestrians and cars. Thanks,

139126460 | about 2 years ago | I appreciate all your POI additions. Keep it up! |
139000777 | about 2 years ago | 👍 I would improve this a bit by making the wooded area a multi polygon and adding the pond as an inner way. |
138812280 | about 2 years ago | Hi Omnific, I noticed you changed the United Rentals area to include only the building. Do you think this is better? For an industrial rental facility like this, I think including the outdoor lot that holds much of the equipment would be more accurate. I think it's more similar to a car dealership where we would include the entire premises. Thoughts? |
138699449 | about 2 years ago | Hello, welcome to OpenStreetMap! Just a heads up that the bicycle=yes tag is used to indicate where cycling is legal osm.wiki/Tag:bicycle%3Dyes. These crossings, unfortunately, are not legal for cycling - see https://www.bclaws.gov.bc.ca/civix/document/id/complete/statreg/96318_05#section183 |
138206893 | about 2 years ago | Great work in the Port Moody area and welcome to OSM! In this changeset, I noticed you split off the turn lane from Murray to Moody early [Way 812681082](osm.org/way/812681082). The general guideline for roadways is that they should only be split if there is a physical barrier between the lanes. Thanks,

135908476 | about 2 years ago | Does this have normal operating hours now or is it just open for special events? I think it would be worth tagging opening_hours="special events" |
