Hi eerib, thanks for adding this. I added an additional tag "access:2025-10-31-=yes" to indicate when it is planned to reopen. I considered instead using "access:2025-04-01-2025-10-31=no" but I doubt any data consumers would process this and it looks super confusing. Hopefully we remember to retag this as open once that time comes around.

Hi QuigleyJones,
I have made the same mistake, which is how I learned this: short service roads for buses like this are not busways. See the wiki: osm.wiki/Tag:highway%3Dbusway#What_is_not_a_busway

Thanks,
Joel

Hello,
Welcome to OpenStreetMap.

Please check for the most recent aerial imagery before adding and deleting features. You have mistakenly added and removed several outdated features so I will be reverting this changeset.

Thanks,
Joel

Thanks, I should have given more context right away. I have been adding a lot of details for (wheelchair) accessibility and connecting bus stops to the sidewalks is an important part of this. On the ground, many bus stops are not accessible from sidewalks (maybe they are on gravel or grass, or directly on the road). If all bus stops are mapped with their connectivity to the sidewalk, those that are disconnected from the sidewalk are more obvious in their limited accessibility. I have also been adding a description that describes the accessibility (which might be redundant). Maybe we could propose a new tag that describes this instead but I think mapping the stops as either connected or disconnected to the sidewalk is the best way. In some cases I have added a little 'pigtail' path between the sidewalk and bus stop if the stop is not directly in the middle of the sidewalk.

Some examples:

Hello,
Is there a reason to separate the bus stop node from the sidewalk? I have been working to connect these all over the city.

Example:

Thanks,
Joel

Thank you, I couldn't find a good tag to use. This is much better.

Or if there is a sign that specifically designates the use of bus, psv, bike, whatever, we could set the value to "=designated"

Hello,
It looks like the access tags may be slightly different than you intended. The "motor_vehicle" key means regular cars/drivers. To indicate that public service vehicles and busses are permitted we would add "psv=yes", "bus=yes", but leave "motor_vehicle=no". Does this match what you intended?
Thanks,
Joel

And thanks for adding this to the map.

I'm interested - any info about this narrow gauge rail installed here? I'm interested why this was installed vs the standard gauge.

Thanks, Joel

Thanks. I assumed SCEE was updating this correctly. I'll fix these.

Is this location correct? It looks like an erroneous duplicate of the one added in changeset 161839639. osm.org/changeset/161839639#map=19/49.264441/-123.101801

Thanks,

Hello and welcome to OpenStreetMap!

I reverted your changeset because you changed the entire school block to become a building by adding the tag building=school.

Thanks,
Joel

Hi GenShibe,

I appreciate the work on the transit details.

It would be much appreciated if you could provide a brief description of your changes along with each changesets instead of just "fix things".

Thanks,
Joel

Good update, thanks - and welcome to OSM!

I made a small change to add "Richmond General Hospital" as the old_name

Hi meisoof, I wanted to point out a few issues I have found with this changeset:
1) Traffic signals should be mapped at the stop line of the way coming in to the intersection instead of exiting the intersection (osm.wiki/Tag:highway%3Dtraffic_signals)
2) King Edward Street and United Boulevard are not a dual-carriageways since there is no physical barrier separating the two directions.

Do you want to try to fix these issues before I take a look? Thanks, Joel

👍
I copied the address from the deleted building to the construction area just so we don't lose it.

如果不是 "bicycle=yes", 那么是 "bicycle=no" 吗? 谢谢
