With the exeption of Tandale ward the rest of the part of the country is not mapped. We need to do a lot in order to map the whole country especially tracks and way points.
The problem we dont have enough facilities tha t will enable us to do that job. as we neen computers, GPG and Camera.
Am requesting for one to provide a support in those materials so as to proceed mapping
currently we are doing in hard condition due to lack of facilities. thanks

After mapping exercise people of Tandale now are using the map to identify their problems. they are kindily seeking for the funds to solve their problems especially in the area of sanitation, solid waste management, health and education.
As one of the ncommunity member of tandale i would like to callopon any on who have been touched with situation at tandale to help us in improving our living condition.

I would to thank all people who were involved during tandale community mapping project. Special thank should go to mr Mark Iliffe how was the program director, but i also than the Non governmental organization TWAWEZA for their helping support financially especially to the students.
I would like to invite other agencies to take a look on our community and see if we can at least improve their environmental as well as standard of living.

Kazi kubwa ilikuwa ni kuingiza data kwenye ramani. imenichukua muda nfupi sana kuingiza hizo data ila zoezi lililokuwa gumu kwangu ni kutofautisha matumizi ya ardhi katika makazi ya muhalitani.
Kwa sasa kazi inaonekana kumalizika kwani sehemu kubwa ya muhalitani imeishaingizwa kwenye ramani. tunawashukuru watu wote walioshiriki au wanaoshiriki kukamilisha zoezi hili.

Todayb my main task wask to finish mapping on the nothern part of Muhalitani village. the main points of interests were mapping the tracks, toilets, waterpoints,shops and butchers. then i have uploaded all the datas that were collected from the site.

Today my main task was to edit the tracks and zoning the the land uses of the area.I have connected the foot path which were not connected. The community members were entitled to identify their issues within their residences and upload then in the website through their map. the issues which were broughtup then were,
1.Sanitation
2.Health
3.Accessibility
4.Educational facilities.
5.Solid waste management.

The process of editing the data collected from muhalitani sub ward continued,the data wich were lately collected were transfered to the computer.The coordinates collected entailed variuos sort of feaures found in the area and thus during editing the corresponding features were matched with the coordinates together with their properties/Information.

Yesterday we delt with editing of tracks and waypoints that were picked from the site.

Today is a very interesting day as we went to the field for the mapping exercise, points of interests were, tracks, waypoints as well as land uses of the area.
