124339012 | about 3 years ago | I was actually thinking that we should maybe have one rule to downgrade tertiary sections that are mostly unpaved/4wd only. There are quite a few especially near/inside national parks including e.g. Pai to Muang Noi.

124339012 | about 3 years ago | hi nitinatsangsit, I believe you made those edits based on the DRR data. Unfortunately, some drawings are wrong, and segments like 478967119, 327173183, 202506151 in Samoeng are actually offroad tracks/paths unsuitable for normal cars. Maybe it was the agency's initial plan to go this way and never happened, or simply a data mistake. Let me know if I should revert these classifications. cheers, julien

123095893 | about 3 years ago | Hi OpMen, thanks for your contributions! FYI, tracks which purpose are primarily for agricultural purposes should be kept a highway=track, while residential roads are typically found within settlements. Main links between settlements should be tagged as unclassified. All these are described in the wiki (osm.wiki/WikiProject_Thailand). If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.

122607288 | about 3 years ago | Hi NateeT. Thanks for updating "Tonys Path". You tagged it as both motorcar=no and motor_vehicle=yes. Did you mean motorcycle=yes?

122569323 | about 3 years ago | thanks for your contributions! is this a new road/bridge? it doesn't show on satellite imagery.

122675248 | about 3 years ago | thanks for your contributions bikerdix! I see you re-aligned the main service road. Please beware that Bing imagery is often misaligned with GPS traces. A better alternative is Maxar Premium Imagery available in the Background Settings menu on the right side of the map. Happy mapping!

115870086 | about 3 years ago | @SomeoneElse Thanks for the heads up and warning, and apologies to @Autoisme for my out of place changeset comments. I also made the mistake of directly messaging mappers for clarifications instead of using changeset comments, and assume they were regular mappers without checking their profile. I also thought mappers were expected to participate in prior communications when contacted, and that ignoring those, intentionally or not, could be considered a form of vandalism, but I was obviously wrong and I apologize to anyone I may have offended or scared off, especially new mappers like @Autoisme

120594451 | about 3 years ago | Hi Natee! I have added recently missing paths based on public GPS data. If you are aware that an existing path is wide enough for a quad/4wd, please feel free to convert those to highway=track. e.g. motor_vehicle=yes are only meant for legal access, and might not be sufficient for routers. Cheers, Julien

119670913 | over 3 years ago | R66_Mapper: you joined only 2 days ago and you start changing the classification of major roads in multiple countries around the world where you don't even live ? what is seriously wrong with you people? If you really want to do good by contributing to OSM: map locally and slowly. Someone please review his changesets and if necessary revert all of them.

119627416 | over 3 years ago | hey, I appreciate your work fixing routing issues but you are not helping if the previous mapper disconnected both road segments because maybe there is a wall in between, and you come and put them back together remotely without any local knowledge. I have suggested the user use noexit=yes because most mappers do not know about this. It would help to double-check the history first. Or do you have any other suggestions to avoid running into this issue again ? thanks, Julien

119534292 | over 3 years ago | Hi Yot Chaiyana, thank you for your contributions. could you please use a better description for the changeset ? also, what source did you use for the ref updates?
|
119512419 | over 3 years ago | if the roads are not connected, you could use a noexit=yes at end of road
