Thanks for the update. You should really consider improving the global wiki. It's really not clear the forward/backward keywords need to be at the end :)

Are you having fun? there is no town, and you have been added consecutive residential, unclassified, and service segments in the middle of farms. I have reverted all your changes. Please respond here if you are genuinely interested in contributing to OSM, or your account and IP address will be reported.

Hi mueschel,

while the global wiki for destination contains no indications for translations,
the original proposal clearly states: destination:xxxxx:en or destination:xxxxxx:lang:en are the expected value for translations
osm.wiki/Proposed_features/Destination_details#destination:street
Or am I missing something ?

PS: Thailand is a small community, so keeping things simple would be the favored approach,

Best,
Julien

Thanks for the fix. It would have been best though to rename the conflicting highway=service to highway=services, as it is normally used for gas stations in Thailand. osm.org/search?query=PTT%20thailand

hey, thanks for your contributions! For future changes, please make sure to use "name" for the local name (most of the time Thai) and "name:en" for the English translation. If the local name is in English (e.g. restaurant), the Thai translation can go in "name:th", otherwise this "name:th" is optional. Thanks! Julien

Thanks for the heads up. I will contact asap ESRI and submit a ticket to iD to include a warning to users when using the Custom Layer feature.

hi woodpeck. Good point. Data is listed and visible from local government amphoe.com and points to a deprecated public ESRI map. I didn't see any API key requirements, or any restriction in the License section, and I thought since ESRI Imagery is already supported by iD with the World_Imagery service, it would not be an issue, or was I wrong ?

FYI, I removed the Raming tea "hamlet" node, because the housing is not a village but a government facility. I also moved the nearby Raming Tea cafe to the new location 1km north-east, as per my last visit. If you feel something is missing or incorrectly tagged, please feel free to correct it. Thanks, Julien

Hi fringo. Are these roads you reclassified as service within a private estate with gates and clear restricted access? If unsure, please kindly refer to the official wiki guidelines: osm.wiki/WikiProject_Thailand#Rough_guidelines_for_minor_highway_tag_decision-making_.28useful_in_most_cases.29

Hi nitinatsangsit, what source did u use for the Mae Hong Son - Chiang Mai boundary? According to google and WorldStreetmap, a large section seems out of place by a large offset, so wanted to check with you first before improving it. Cheers, Julien
