111532541 | almost 4 years ago | just curious, wouldn't "Wat ------" be normally the official English translation? First time I see "Temple" as part of the name tag.

111520517 | almost 4 years ago | Thank you for your contributions. It came to my attention that this specific HOT campaign is reserved for NCMP members only and may need to be archived. Please kindly put on hold any further edits until hear from the campaign admin. Thank you for your understanding. Julien

111372898 | almost 4 years ago | Andrew, you missed the point. I didn't say you could turn every single service road into unclassified, but only the main "through road". A dead-end or unpaved road does not qualify. The wiki definitions are clear. I know well this area. Why do you need to change service roads so badly? Is this because they don't render properly into your garmin or mobile application ?

110946678 | almost 4 years ago | Hi vulasala. Main links between settlements should be marked as unclassified. Residential roads are only meant to be found within residential areas. Please kindly change this classification and refer to the official guidelines below. If you or your manager has any concerns please contact the community in the forum as described below in the wiki. Thank you. osm.wiki/WikiProject_Thailand

110840655 | almost 4 years ago | Hi Kurt. Just curious, where do you get the data for the streams? I often want to add more but I find it very difficult to guess them from satellite imagery. Cheers, Julien

55939360 | almost 4 years ago | Hello. trust you are well. I wanted to know the source for osm.org/way/557403758 ? I would appreciate if you could add a source:geometry=survey if this was done via a ground survey. Best, Julien |
83015842 | almost 4 years ago | Hello Dave, I hope you are well. FYI, I have removed junction=yes on nodes that do not share other properties as described in the documentation

110589186 | almost 4 years ago | It didn't matter here but new mappers tend to copy what they see. And having "Bing" in the changeset comment or source tag will make them feel it might be the default/recommended imagery.

110589186 | almost 4 years ago | Hi Johnny. hope all is well. I know you really like Bing ;) and it's not an issue here, but it is in many rural areas and others mappers may still think Bing is the default choice. I requested recently the Thai wiki to be updated with "A recommended alternative with more recent imagery is Maxar and ESRI." See osm.wiki/WikiProject_Thailand#Aerial_imagery

110541404 | almost 4 years ago | "Soi 9 is not accessible" What are you trying to do? Customers can only enter from the east side ? What about Soi 9?

110454989 | almost 4 years ago | The roads are clearly within a private area ( landuse=greenhouse_horticulture) so they must be tagged as service. Please refer to the official Thailand wiki guidelines below and apply the appropriate minor road classification to this changeset and all future ones. thank you.

110435683 | almost 4 years ago | There is no way you can identify here the surface from satellite imagery. Please refrain from changing existing classifications with imagery alone. Please kindly revert.

110440195 | almost 4 years ago | Wrong minor road classification. Please choose the appropriate classification for this and future changesets according to the official guidelines:

110416919 | almost 4 years ago | Please combine changes in a smaller geographical area (city, district, province). Add a description to your changeset. Are you familiar with the country you are mapping? Have you read their guidelines (if any)

110409629 | almost 4 years ago | The links are good to know but you omit one basic thing: productivity. Thousands of volunteers review during their limited free time dozens/hundreds of changesets per day to maintain a certain quality in their area of mapping. They do not have time to manually construct links, jump from one tool to another. So until the tools are improved and those technical issues are solved, the very small minority of mappers making changesets spanning over multiple countries/regions are basically disrespecting the work of thousands of reviewers across the world. Got plenty of time yourself? Then please go improve the tools so we don’t have to argue about this again.
