Routing error in San Fernando, Cadiz, Spain.

Diposkan oleh jutezak pada 21 Ogos 2014 dalam English

Hi,

On my holiday I found a very illogical route using Osmand. Now that I am home I see that OSRM is doing the same: not taking the on-ramp to the highway.

http://osrm.at/94f

When I inspect the map with iD, nothing seems wrong with connections, oneway or nodes. ITO maps also doesn’t show recent edits in that area so the problem should still be there:

How to progress now to fix this?

Afslagen A10/A8 aangepast

Het is way 46590549.

Tevens wat kleinigheden aangepast met de Destination:-tag. Moet nog in sync gebracht worden met wat echt op de borden staat.

Road that is mostly under water

Diposkan oleh jutezak pada 21 Ogos 2012 dalam English

‘Le Passage du Gois’ is mostly under water. During spring tide it can be used from 1:45 before to 1:45 after ebb. At neap tide or bad weather, the recommendenation is only to cross exactly at ebb.

IMO, it is more a touristic attraction than a serious road.

How should this be designated? Tertiary road sounds too important and will draw navigation systems towards it (could be dangerous at night, as there is no barrier, just warning signs).

Attirbutes or separate ways, what is preferred?

Diposkan oleh jutezak pada 14 Januari 2012 dalam English

The 'insulindeweg' osm.org/?lat=52.361195&lon=4.934189&zoom=18&layers=M is similar on the left and right parts. But on the left, the cycleways have been drawn separately, while on the right, they are mapped with 'cycleway=track' and similar attributes.

Easier to edit, but not so good with relations, turn restrictions etc.

Is there a preferred way to do this, depending on situation?

How to do a crossing you can not make turns?

Diposkan oleh jutezak pada 14 Disember 2011 dalam English

I edited osm.org/?lat=52.348465&lon=4.918406&zoom=18&layers=M

The Wibautstraat / S112 going south is crossing the roundabout, and you are not supposed to turn onto or off the roundabout on the north side - there are other ways to get on or off the roundabout.

I first tried a crossing with turn restrictions, and 2 ways crossing without a bridge is often seen as indicative of an error. But I get a node woth a small traffic sign, and I do not see that often on OSM. So I decided for just having the ways cross without an intersection. Is that the right way?
