I noticed you made a lot of edits to parks in West Liberty. Some of the parks you added weren't on the map before, so nice work! Some of the features that you changed were already mapped with their correct boundaries. If you don't mind I am going to go ahead and clean up what you contributed.

Mapping roads on OSM does not matter whether they are public or private access. It only matters if the road exists. The access=* tag exists so people can document access if it is signposted.

Looking at your recent changesets it seems you are eager to delete service roads and driveways. These are perfectly valid things to map. They might be better suited with the tags highway=service, service=driveway, access=private. You can add these tags if you want, but you should not delete data if it exists on the ground.

The people mapping driveways in rural Iowa work for Amazon. They currently employ a large number of people who are working to improve coverage of driveways and service roads to businesses. Amazon's goal is to make it easier for delivery drivers to locate residences.

If you simply delete these driveways, you might make it significantly harder for a delivery driver to locate someone's house. They might give up and move onto the next house, leaving the resident without an important piece of postage, like medication or a letter from a grandson.

It's perfectly fine to map driveways. The driveways you are deleting are already marked as access=private. They are rendered differently on the map and routing apps won't use ways marked private.

The name of the city is Little Rock, not Little Rock Arkansas. Also, this Little Rock is in Iowa and not Arkansas.

Per, osm.wiki/Proposed_features/splash_pad and https://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/search?q=splash_pad#values it appears the accepted tagging for a fountain area in a park is leisure=playground and playground=splash_pad. You changed it to leisure=water_park

What was the point of deleting all the features on the golf course?

They seem to have already been mapped with relatively high quality. I am assuming you are going to remap the course slightly more accurately. Why not adjust the current data to be more accurate. By deleting everything, the associated edit history is lost.

I've got to ask, what was/is the point of doing these large scale low quality imports from RapidAI. Accepting the recommendations without actually correcting anything is basically just mapping for the renderer. The OpenStreetMap basemap might only display the buildings actually mapped, but many 3rd party maps simply overlay Microsoft buildings or another building source over the map. OpenStreetMap is supposed to be of higher quality than these other data sources rather than the exact same.

The whole point of Facebook's software is to facilitate the process of mapping in relatively unmapped regions and to help identify unmapped regions. RapiD uses Maxar imagery, which, at least in this region, is vastly inferior in quality to some of the other imagery. Therefore, any predictions made by there model will be worse than what an actual human can make by using higher quality imagery like Mapbox Satellite.

Additionally, it is very difficult to correct low quality contributions. It is hard to identify, since without close inspection a region with buildings would be assumed to be high quality. Many mappers don't enjoy correcting existing data and would be much more inclined to add data where it does not exist.

You added a ford where there was actually a culvert. Most mapping services will not route over a ford since it could be dangerous.

For the context of Amazon deliveries, this means a driver would instead be routed to the northern Indian Ridge Drive rather than the unnamed residential road. In this case, it might add a couple of minutes to the route. A couple of minutes is money lost. In other cases it could add an hour to the route if a bridge over a major stream is misrepresented as a ford.

You should take a second look at your edit.

You moved Prospect Street so that it cuts straight through people's yards. You marked some people's yards as part of Alta Park. You also connected the edges of the park to the street, it is preferable to have areas come up to the easement and not connect.

If you are going to continue to contribute, it looks like none of the alleys in the town are mapped. That could be something easy to do.

Hey, not a huge deal but I noticed when you remapped the track to be an area you didn't bring forward all the tags. I added the tags back onto the track.

Two months ago, I mapped every (hopefully) track in Iowa to help people whose home tracks were shut down find another place to work out. I tagged them all with name, surface, colour, lanes. Overpass Turbo can provide a nice visualization by looking for leisure=track in Iowa.

Most buildings are constructed to be like rectangles with square 90 degree corners. If you select a building and press Q it will square it. Also if you right click a building one of the options will be to square it.

You changed the address of a building located in Denver, Iowa. Iowa is not Colorado. You should changed the state back to IA.

It looks like all of the "offices" you added were pretty inaccurate in shape and label. Are you actually getting this information from LiDAR scans?

Since you are using the iD editor, if you right click an object there is an option to square. You can also select the object and press Q which will also square the object.

It seems to me like all of those buildings should be either labelled as "Building" or as "House".

I'm curious where you pulled the names for some of these neighborhoods? Specifically Fejervary Neighbors.

My understanding is that it is preferable to tag sidewalks adjacent to a street with sidewalk=both, sidewalk=left, or sidewalk=right. In cases where the sidewalk goes away from the street, map it as a separate way.

I didn't actually add the tags to all of the streets where I removed sidewalks so my edit isn't very productive.
