So a few notes:
1. I would recommend you stick with using the iD editor. This is the easiest to use and makes it hard to mess things up.
2. For imagery, it looks like Esri Clarity is the best in your location. In the iD editor, you can change the imagery you use by pressing 'B'. Select "Esri World Imagery (Clarity) Beta".
3. If you are adding roads on the plant grounds, you should use the "service road" preset. The highway=service will indicate the priority (low) and will cause it to render on the map.
4. The map uses slippy tiles for rendering. As soon as you upload a changeset, the database will reflect the changes you made. This means a routing service would instantly be able to use added roads. It may take a few days for the rendered map to reflect changes you make.

Could you possibly try and further clarify your use case? You are trying to add the paths forklift drivers navigate around the plant? If they work at the factory then why do they need directions?

Can you outline what exactly you are trying to accomplish? It seems you have made a large number of edits on this particular road, changing the tags each time.

It looks like user, radissonhotelsspark, is the person going around adding the address information and changing the name tag for this hotel brand. Based on their username, it seems they are editing for Radisson. Per the Wikipedia page, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radisson_Hotel_Group, "Country Inn & Suites" rebranded to become "Country Inn & Suites by Radisson" in January 2018.

If you remove the building=* tag, then the hotel will not render as a building on the map. All of the other tags are correct, but in addition, it needs the tag, building=hotel.

I wouldn't recommend using Bing Imagery. Everything in Iowa City has been aligned to Mapbox Satellite, whereas Bing Imagery is offset and of lower quality.

You can switch which background imagery you are using in iD by pressing the "B" on your keyboard. This should bring up a list of imagery to use, select Mapbox for the highest resolution. National Agricultural Imagery Program (NAIP) is the most up to date if you are trying to add recent construction.

I see via the Wikipedia page that some parts of Highway 6 in the US are referred to as Grand Army of the Republic Highway. I drive on this stretch of highway weekly and have never noticed signage calling it that. All of the road signs I've seen call it some variation of Highway 6, US Highway 6, Highway 6 West, Highway 6 East...

As the name=* tag is supposed to refer to the on-the-ground common usage name, I don't think it is appropriate to change it here. Wouldn't it make more sense just to tack alt_name="Grand Army of the Republic Highway" onto the entire US 6 relation?

You changed the name of US 69 / IA 2 to the name of your business. I went ahead and reverted your changes. If you want an easy way to add your business, please add a node located on top of your business and add the appropriate tags to it.

Please don't abbreviate road suffixes. For instance, Opal Ln should be written as Opal Lane. This allows 3rd party software the ability to decide whether or not to abbreviate the name. Without the full name, they would have to guess what the abbreviation stands for.

Also, in the editor, try switching the background imagery using the button with 3 stacked squares. The National Agricultural Imagery Program (NAIP) is recent enough that you can actually see the roads you added.

Road names shouldn't be abbreviated, they should be written as full names. For instance, Prairie Hill Ct should be written Prairie Hill Court. The renderer can make the decision whether or not to abbreviate.

You are creating lines but not adding tags. They should be area=yes, building=yes, and building=house in this case.

Bing Imagery is not the highest quality in this area, you should be using Mapbox instead. Also make sure to execute the square command on the shapes, you can press Q on the iD editor to square a closed way.

What was the point of removing the roundabout here, it was already mapped correctly (other than it shouldn't be named).

Certainly, the junction is not a mini-roundabout since it has an electric pole in the center, meaning it would be impossible to drive a vehicle straight across. Per the OSM definition of mini-roundabout, "A mini-roundabout is a special type of roundabout in which the middle can be traversed by vehicles".

It looks like you know about the 'square' command. There is also a 'circularize' command which takes a closed way and makes it circular. The aboveground pools you added would be a perfect application of the 'circularize' feature.

This is wrong. You incorrectly changed the landuse and in addition removed the valid Wikidata and Wikipedia tags. This has happened multiple times between you and edgar77rangel. Please explain yourself.

That's a bit of an odd setup. I'm curious whether the city built the pool before the schools, or the school district built the schools around the pool?

Council Bluff doesn't list it on their parks&rec website. https://www.councilbluffs-ia.gov/2211/Our-Parks. It looks like it might have gotten renamed or absorbed into one of the two adjacent parks.

Looking around the area, it also seems that both Big Lake Park and Lewis and Clark Monument Park have somewhat incorrect boundaries.
