Again like Wardha, I am on temporary deputation to KV Pandhurna. Its been almost four months been here. Tertiary roads in the city are almost completed. Now I’ve to add POIs. Pandhurna looks pretty good now. This small town very famous (notorious) for its stone-pelting ritual ‘Gotmar’ observed every year in which people from the villages across the river throw stones at each other in the name of faith of local deity Chandika Mata. Here is the video of Gotmar Fair uploaded by me on my YouTube channel. During my stay at Pandhurna I also managed to visit Deogarh Fort which is an ASI site. Deogarh Fort showcases the ruins of Gond King Jatba and Tribal Dynasty. That’s it for now.

I’ve been sent on temporary deputation to Wardha. There is no permanent staff in KV Wardha as it is newly opened KV. It opened in the month of September, 2015 in the middle of Academic Session. When I saw the the map of Wardha on OSM site, it was just outer boundary of the town and a couple of highways passing through it. There is an International Hindi University named Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi VishwaVidyalaya, Wardha. I’ve already mapped some places like Hindi University, Bank, College, Schools, fuel stations, residential highways, temples, etc. I take it as a project to map this town. I’ve ample of time there after school hours. I’ll either read something or watch movies or map Wardha. I am enjoying being in Wardha. And after all it is end of the session. So wish me all the best….

When I learned mapping OSM from one of my closest friends Dr. Ganesh Dhamodkar, I searched for Ramtek town (because my hometown Kachurwahi was already mapped by him). It was completely blank except some roads. Then I started adding things, residential roads, POIs, Hospitals, clinics, Schools, colleges, etc and my map became pretty good over a week. I downloaded josm, but it has authentication problem. I authenticated it with my google account, but still while uploading edited data it shows errors. Data are not being uploaded. So I am mapping through Vespucci android app. It takes a lot of time to map things.
