Yes it connects various cities similar to a roadway, however, these cities are too close together and have various speed limit changes as you approach/are in them (particularly Half Moon Bay). A good example of a road that should be a trunk road in the U.S. is US 41: osm.org/relation/2304382 If there are any other major road classifications that you have changed, please share them so that they can be reviewed accurately.
