access to / re-use of public sector information - EU survey
Vum lyx matgedeelt de(n) 10. September 2010 op English.The European Commission plans to rework its directive on the use of public sector information and has published an online survey soliciting comments and suggestions. The survey is accessible at

The directive will influence under what conditions e.g. geodata will be made available by the public sector in EU member countries in the future.

Very useful, thanks for posting this. I filled out the form the best I could, re-iterating my views that public data should be completely open and free for everyone. Information wants to be free :-)
