@Paul: I don't see a problem here, care to elaborate? They are bringing OSM to a lot more users, and do it without putting an extra load on OSM infrastructure.

The Coordinates that you get from MapSource are in Degrees, Minutes and fractions of minutes while JOSM has Degrees and fractions of degrees here. I'm not suree if you can switch JOSM to use the same system as MapSource; if not, you have to recalculate the coords yourself: One degree is 60 Minutes, so (Minutes / 60) * 100 gives you fractional degrees. Looking at 32°15.888', 15.888/60*100 gives you 26.48, so you have 32.2648 as longitude.

Auf der Karte auf www.openstreetmap.org nicht, soweit ich weiss. Aber unter http://toolserver.org/~osm/locale/ gibts eine osm-Karte, bei der Du für die Beschriftung zwischen verschiedenen Sprachen wählen kannst (soweit halt die Namen in der jeweiligen Sprache erfasst sind).

I'm sure there are other ways to draw nodes at the location given by waypoints, but I don't know them :-) Using josm is just the way I do it.

If you use josm as editor you can read a gpx file with your waypoints, then draw a node where your waypoint is displayed.

You're right, an "area" is just a "closed way". When it comes to tagging, that depends on what it is.
Have a look at osm.wiki/Map_Features which lists most commonly used (and many less commonly used) tags.
For reviewing TIGER data you should check out osm.wiki/TIGER_fixup which describes common problems with TIGER data and how to fix them. As soon as you have reviewed and corrected an imported way you should delete the tiger:reviewed=no tag to indicate that this way has been checked.
