I think you may be a little confused. “Üser Diaries” is where random OSM contributors post useful information and comments (it can also be useless and sometimes it is spam i.e. rubbish).
maning is asking a legitimate question.
On https://help.openstreetmap.org/ the OSM Gurus such as Frederick Ramm and SomeoneElse give much needed advice and cannot be considered to be random users.
maning’s question may have been put already to this set of gurus and they may know the answer already.

Actually I’ve already asked that question to the mapbox staff. They said they are focusing on getting their service up and running at the moment but they “look forward to involving the openstreetmap community”
