2010 Plans for Mapping Marikina City, Philippines
Spisany wot maning dnja 4 January 2010 w rěči English.For the past years I am continuously editing Marikina City for roads, cycleways and footways. I believe OSM has the most "road complete" map of this City. However, I haven't really made a systematic approach or metric to say it is complete. You just have to take my word for it.
So for this year, I made a checklist of what to map and started logging all my activities in my wiki page: osm.wiki/User:Maning/Marikina
I hope in twelve months or less I can finally declare this patch as "complete" and move on to mapping (ugh!) house numbers.

I know what you mean with 'ugh', but it's actually really satisfying when you can pinpoint any house number in your neighborhood.

hahaha.. there was actually one in existence complete with house numbers... but i guess it went off with ondoy. I worked on it while I was still in my job at the city hall.
I will update you on this issue - have to call them up see what's the status

I know and it's inevitable that we map those house numbers.

That's great to hear! If we can ask the LGU for permission to add the data in OSM. I can help in importing the data.
