The moderation queue. The first 1000 issues
Air a phostadh le mavl 1 An t-Samhain 2018 sa chànan English1000 issues were already created. The issue #1 ((ID=1) was created on 2018-06-16. The issue #1000 (ID=1064) was created on 2018-09-19. So an average speed is 1000/96 = 10.4 (issues/day). An information about these created issues is shown here.
P.S. Some issues are not real problems because there are users who think that moderation queue is some kind of game. For example, there is a case when one user reported that other user was vandal, but this other user had 0 changesets and 0 map note actions.

Lots of spam then. I wonder if there is value in having some autodetect steps in place. Maybe just for OSM diaries.

Thanks mavl for posting these statistics! It’s great to see that the system is being well used - it certainly took a lot of development work, by a lot of different people, in order to get it fully working and deployed.
Rob - there’s already spam detection and filtering in the website, but there’s always room for improvement. Perhaps these reports and issues can be used to help improve the filters? If anyone is interested in doing this, then they could contact the DWG, who currently handle most of the moderation tasks.

Came here through Andy’s recent blog post https://blog.gravitystorm.co.uk/2018/11/09/moderation-authorisation-and-background-task-improvements-for-openstreetmap/ . Thanks for the update with these numbers. Curious but I guess not unexpected that there is abuse of this system as well. We’ll never completely rid ourselves of bad actors. At least moderation makes it possible to deal with the more visible results of their actions. Thanks for all the work on this!

Посмотрел историю OSM инспектор , последний раз в Алма-Атах её открывали в 2005 году.
