I am a bit less of a leech on OSM

“Drawing these roads and buildings brought back childhood memories of taking my toy trucks into the yard as a kid and making roads from dirt and building little lakes and bridges with hose water and sticks. Later on, Sim City brought this kind of play to the next level and I was able to build whole simulated cities. I could spend hours watching them develop. This feels similar in a way only a bit more fascinating because you are tracing the result of actual human involvement with the landscape.”

That was me! I am now addicted to mapping in OSM. I see the world differently, I notice street_lamps, fire_hydrants and bus stops.

Creating/improving MTB paths at Medvednica mountain

The “slide” (http://labs.strava.com/slide/) feature from Strava would help align the path correctly. follow this link and click on the edit with iD in the upper left corner. http://labs.strava.com/routing-errors/#250/18/15.96946/45.88067

You have a mtb relation, I believe that is all you need. osm.org/relation/4127780

Give it some time for the maps to update.

Keeping OSM up to date with OSMfocus

Great Idea, I like to see all the tags, I already found some tag mistakes. Could you show map (browse map) with out requiring a GPS lock? I like that I can browse the map after a GPS lock. I would like to see tags of a restaurant real quick while waiting for food. If there are tags missing, I would want to edit tags or create an OSM note. Taking a photo and placing it where the cross hairs are would be nice (great for taking a picture of Open Hours). I then could use the picture and location of picture on the map for later editing in JOSM.

My Experience, Accuracy

I would like to add OSMAND to the Android list. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.osmand

OSMAND main purpose is navigation, but I have found it very used to map POI and Bugs. The POIs and Bugs are directly uploaded to OSM. It will also allow you to download maps (OSM and Bing aerial) to your phone, so your cell data can be off while mapping. Once home, you can use the wifi to upload all the POI and Bugs. (I currently use an old smart phone that is not activated and strap it to my bicycle so I can map other neighborhoods that are to far for a walk)
