Can not purchase download of UK map as the shop says “please enter a valid email” the email I enter is definitely valid? Is this a problem someone else encountered. Thank you for any help. Michel

OpenStreetMap doesn’t sell anything. Whatever “shop” you’re dealing with, it isn’t OpenStreetMap! Perhaps if you tell us the web address of the shop, someone can help.

OSM is not a shop, we don’t sell maps. OSM is just a volunteer organisation that gathers geographic data.
It is possible (and legal) that some people transform the data into a nice map they can sell. But then you should contact those who make the map, instead of us, who only gather the data.

There are lots of ‘shops’ around the world. There are lots of UK maps.
Be specific … What ‘shop’?
What kind of UK map? Is this a GPS map for a Gramin GPS? Or a PDF map? Or a paper map?
Ordnance Survey Map? OSM here stands for Open Street Map. Ordnance Survey map is usually abbreviated to OS.
