Leider war der Haupttag bei diesem Weg nicht erfasst worden. Ich habe ihn ergänzt, so dass nun über die Treppe ins Quartier geroutet werden kann.

You're right, I should have spoken to the community about reducing the size. I was simply in the flow. Originally, I only specified that the tennis courts were too big. In my overpass query, however, the already mapped tennis courts also came up. I'd be happy to bring this part into the community. I see this point clearly, as it is a massive change to the data.

Nevertheless, I would like to refer to the wiki, which says at osm.wiki/Tag:leisure%3Dpitch:
"If there is some physical outline of the pitch or painted line markings...".
I see your point that especially in tennis not only the markings are used, however the markings define the pitch. What we map as leisure=pitch.

If you think about the picture further, football pitches should not be mapped at the markings, but about 50 cm further out, since the player is no longer on the pitch when the ball is thrown in.
And to stay with football, is the goal part of the pitch or not?

A consistent mapping of the pitches makes it possible to make more accurate estimates of the number of pitches based on the areas, if people are interested in areas.

I would like to take the topic of tennis even further and consider drawing an area with leisure=sports_centre around the individual pitches.

Störend finde ich es nur, weil es mir einen Hinweis gibt "Ah, das wird anscheinend für etwas gebraucht, im Moment wird dafür aber noch ein Tag "missbraucht"". Finde es hochinteressant, dass OSM auch bei der Notrufzentral 144 genutzt wird.
Nicht immer fragen Mapper nach, wenn sie Fehler entdecken. Ich möchte nicht, dass diese doch wichtigen Informationen verloren gehen, falls es mal jemanden packen würde und einfach drüber löscht.

Würde ein umtaggen in description noch den selben Zweck erfüllen?

Den Bahnhof schaue ich mir mal. Das ist eher ein Ungetüm, an welches ich mich noch nicht gewagt habe.

Der name-Tag eignet sich meiner Meinung nach nicht dafür, was du genau erreichen willst.
Darf ich fragen welches Ziel das Start/Ende-Taging von Treppen hat? Und wäre eine solche Beschreibung nicht eher besser in description=* aufgehoben?

Grundsätzlich ist die Erfassung von Trottoirs ja nicht falsch, wird es doch weltweit und in der Schweiz zu einem gewissen Ausmass betrieben, gerade weil der Detailgrad erhöht wird. Aber wie ich gelernt habe, hat es auch seine Tücken.
Man hätte für die hw=* einfach auch die Tags auf sidewalk:*=separate ändern können, wenn die Trottoirs vollständig erfasst sind.
Für mich ist das jeweils eine Kontrolle, ob noch Trottoirs erfasst werden müssen oder nicht.

Warum wurden die Bürgersteige gelöscht?
Wir verlieren auch Informationen über Bordsteinkanten, die für das Routing von Personen mit Einschränkungen wichtig sein könnten.

Ich hätte tatsächlich, die Änderung in deinem Changeset kommentieren können. Entschuldige, dass ich das nicht gemacht habe. Trotzdem war die Erfassung mit dem name-Tag falsch und muss korrigiert werden. Ob es sich dabei um ein kleiner Bereich oder einen grossen, öffentlichen Bereich handelt spielt effektiv keine Rolle.
Güniken scheint schön im Grünen zu liegen. Stell dir vor, jemand klebt an jedes Feld in der Region den name-Tag "Feld" und an jedes Haus den name-Tag "Haus", das macht überhaupt keinen Sinn.

Bei meinen getätigten Änderungen handelt es sich um Beschreibungen, die fälschlicherweise als Name eingetragen wurden.
osm.wiki/DE:Namen
Ein Apfel- oder Mirabellenbaum trägt nicht den Namen "Apfelbaum" oder "Mirabellenbaum", dies kann, falls gewollt mit anderen Tags abgebildet werden.
Auch der "Velounterstand" ist mit den vorhandenen Tags ausreichend genau dokumentiert, dass eine weitere Beschreibung eigentlich sinnlos ist.
Dass es sich um dein Privatgrundstück handelt, ist hinsichtlich der Korrektheit der Daten irrelevant.

I know that I don't need to, but we decided to do it in this first phase of mapping. Later, when more people get involved it is easier to add more details to the relation than selecting all the solar panels. And it makes it a lot easier to get information about the area covered by panels for a plant, at least in JOSM.

after mapping in India for a couple of years and setting up some maproulette tasks, I did some maproulette tasks in this region of the world. I was amazed that the quality of the imagery was so good (I am not used to this kind of quality) so I decided to map some natural=wood features.

Thank you very much for your contributions. I deleted name=internal roads. This is a description of the road use and not the name of the road itself. Close by is a really good example how the name tag should be used: name=Shivaji Road.

What is the purpose of adding so many conveying tags? According to the wiki (osm.wiki/Key:conveying) it is a key to describe escalators etc.

Thank you very much for your contributions. From the area tagging it is not necessary to name a wood or residential area with name=Wooded Area or name=Residential Area. The name tag is reserved for areas with a certain name, i.e. name=Darkwood.

I have another idea. Ther is a addon to download along a way. I use it quite often, but this could be the source of the error, because you said the issue always occurs at the edges of the bounding box.

Will try it in the evening.
