I'm wanting to combine one or more GPX traces into a movie or animated icon.
ie replay the movement of the GPS either super imposed on OSM map or just plain background
any one got any s/w or hints how to go about this?

On 20/3/2010 we are having an OSM mapping party at the Botanic Gardens. Meet at the cafe area at 10am - bring along your tracking device and off we will go and map the paths around the gardens.

Walked along two pieces of this track in Canberra and finally go around to uploading some of the GPX files and tracing them..
It was a hot day and but we managed 7km after collecting a few caches along the way.. :)

I think most of Canberra is now mapped and that includes street names, I would estimate about 90% is Done

We need to start adding
Cycleways and
walk ways as well as
fire trails and bush walks
POIs eg shops / toilets etc..

Started tracing Rivett and Chapman, Done most of the street names in Rivett
