Hi, thanks for editing OSM! If you want to add a business, please find the location (building) of the business and create a new point (node) there with the information, along with the appropriate business type. Address and business information should not be added to ways (streets). Thanks and happy mapping!

OSM is a map of verifiable geographic information. Please do not use it for advertising or promoting your business. If you want to contribute to OSM, please take some time to review the mapping guidelines, or use onosm.org to have an experienced mapper add your business for you in a way that conforms to OSM best practices. Thank you.

When an exit is unsigned / only accessible to maintenance or enforcement this is a common way to tag it. That seems to be the case here: http://openstreetcam.org/details/8846/116

Hi scruss -- you contacted me through email about this as well. We won't use the city data any longer untill we resolve this together.

chadbunn, do you have JOSM configured to use Utah AGRC imagery? I have tried and failed :( I would love to be able to use it in JOSM!

Hi wrk3,

I am curious why you delete a railway platform mapped as an area, which is valid tagging, and replace it with a way? To my mind this reduces the quality of the map.

Hi Angel Collins,
Some of the things you added to OpenStreetMap don't seem to exist in reality. Please only add things to OpenStreetMap that exist and can be verified to others. OpenStreetMap maps and data are used by millions of people who rely on the data being accurate.
From your comment, it looks like this is part of a class exercise. Please make sure to forward this message to your fellow students and teacher. Thanks!

By the way: don't hesitate to get in touch with me, I am local here in SLC and happy to help you make great contributions to OpenStreetMap.

Hey there! Thanks for your contributions to OSM. I am not 100% sure but the things you added look like sports pitches to me (baseball perhaps?) If this is the case, please look at osm.wiki/Key:sport and consider tagging these areas `leisure=sport` and `sport=baseball` (or whatever sport is appropriate, `multi` is also allowed for fields that accommodate more than one sport).

If you're interested in meeting other mappers in the SLC area, check out https://www.meetup.com/OpenStreetMap-Utah/

Thanks again!

Hi! Your trail is in the OpenStreetMap database, but some things are not displayed on the main map, only on specialized maps that use OSM data. Nordic / XC trails are among those specialized things that don't appear on the main map. You can see your trail for example on OpenSnowMap: http://www.opensnowmap.org/?zoom=15&lat=45.31237&lon=-121.62466&layers=snowbase&marker=false For more information, check here: osm.wiki/Winter_sports

Hey there! Welcome to OSM. I noticed that you added a Castle in St George. I can't see a castle at that location, it looks like a residential area. Did you mean to add something else? Let me know how I can help.

Thanks and happy mapping -- Martijn

Welcome to OpenStreetMap and thanks for your edits! I made some more around the same area, I hope it's helpful. If you want to get in touch with other mappers, please join our Slack community at https://osmus-slack.herokuapp.com/. Friendly people there are happy to answer questions. Thanks again!
Since you're editing in Utah and may be from there, let me also point you to OpenStreetMap Utah, a growing group of local mappers who sometimes get together: https://www.meetup.com/OpenStreetMap-Utah/
