Please stop listing every single change you make, it gets tedious scrolling through all the almost identical posts in my RSS reader - imagine what it would be like if all OSM contributors did the same thing!
However, longer posts with more detail about your mapping over a week, for example may be more digestable to most readers of the diaries.
On a more positive note, it is interesting to hear about what people are getting up to around the world editing OSM, but yes, larger chunks less often would be great! :)
I'm also interested in knowing what n7xsd and blars are up to since we have all been trying to clean up the TIGER data around the Vegas area. From my trip over there in July, I've got over six thousand miles of gps tracks and I'm slowly making my way along my routes.
Started at Vegas and am currently on the I70 going across Utah towards Denver. Then it's up to the Black hills, back across to Yellowstone, down to Crater lake then down to Reno and back through Death Valley to Las Vegas again.
This is going to take all year.
The TIGER data for interstates is very messy. Usually only one track, not a bridge or overpass in sight and everything from roads, long gone dirt tracks, power lines, railways, all with connecting nodes on the interstate.
On the I-15 I had both directions with gps traces since someone had drives the southbound track but on the I70 I've only got the eastbound trace.
I'm using the Yahoo imagery to map the westbound lane but I hope that someone else will drive this (and capture a public gps track) and then improve my edits.
Oops... I naively thought that "my diary" was, well, my diary. A place I could leave myself notes that others might want to look up. I didn't expect them to be sent to uninterested people.
I'll have to keep my broader audience in mind for future entries.
