O "square" que você representou aqui osm.org/way/540100328 é utilizado, em geral, para locais pavimentados (também conhecidos como "plaza")
Outro detalhe é que não se deve grudar as áreas nas ruas ao redor.
Tente desenhar as praças e outras áreas onde elas realmente se encontram, sem unir nenhum ponto com os caminhos em volta.
