I would hope so, rofl, but we now have gas Harley's driving the MUTs as well as 45 mph electric motorcyles, and an inquiry to APD suggests that APD has no interest in any trail enforcement, though we have at least one business renting kilowatt ebikes for use on the Coastal Trail

Frankly, I think ATV may well be a yes :-O

I tagged a few trails like this to generate discussion :-) I certainly appreciate your concerns and am thinking hard about the speed_pedelec tag (there are also some tags used apparently in Belgium that might be apropos.)

Thanks for the suggestion, but I think the real issue here is as noted above that by federal definition the vehicles that are allowed on these trails ARE NOT electric_bicycles.

The speed_pedelec would be a great idea if it was broadly accepted, but discussions with agencies and NGOs that are using OSM data suggests that is not the case.

So, the problem is, how to tag a multiuse path where 750 watt vehicles are expressly authorized by ordinance, though classified motor vehicles by federal authorities.

On further research this area is part of the Summer Stone condo development which was built on top of what was the College Park Trailer Park. The subdivision to the north, including Radcliff Dr, Penn Circle, and College Drive, are included in the College Park subdivision.
