Hi,

Sorry, my mistake--I should have realised that you just split the way. Looks like ref=Exit was originally added on the way several years ago. I will remove it.

Thanks :)

Hi. Thanks for helping improve the map in Singapore.

Your change adds a new way (654572674) which has ref=Exit. This isn't correct use of the ref tag--for roads or highways, ref should be the reference (a number or abbreviation, typically), such as KPE for Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway.

I'm pleased that you want to map exits and junctions, but ref=Exit isn't the correct way to do that. Please see the "Exit Info" page on the wiki.

Also, way 654572674 (and the other sections of the same "logical way", such as the link road from Tampines Expressway) shouldn't have name=KPE, since it's not part of KPE proper.

Thanks :)

Welcome to OpenStreetMap and thanks for taking the time to improve the map.

The commercial area you added would probably be clearer as a pedestrian area. Also, I wouldn't call it "promenade", because it's only part of the Promenade. For future reference, please use an initial uppercase letter for names (Promenade, not promenade), unless there's a good reason not to. It helps keep the map looking smart.

BTW, you can add points or nodes or trees (within the area). Sometimes it can be hard to get an accurate count of trees from aerial imagery, so you could count the number of trees on the ground, and then add the position of the trees from imagery.

Hi. In this changeset, you've changed the name of a small building (osm.org/way/476263573) to "terminal B". Since it's nowhere near the actual terminal B, this seems like a mistake. You've also renamed several roads to "terminal B". Some of these were previously called "Terminal C - Arrivals" and similar, which seems more correct. Could you please take a look and fix? Thanks :)

Thanks for clarifying :)

Hi. Thanks for improving the map in Singapore. I'm a little concerned at your changeset comments which imply you're copying data from OneMap.sg and Sg Street Directory. Do you have written permission to do that? It looks like the terms and conditions for OneMap don't allow data to be copied: https://www.onemap.sg/legal/termsofuse.html.

Please read osm.wiki/Legal_FAQ for more details.

I've removed it. Thanks again for pointing out my original mistake, and sorry for the slow response.

Thanks for your comment. I changed H&M by mistake. You're right: it's a clothes shop. However, it is no longer there: that unit is now vacant, as H&M has relocated to The Oracle in Reading.

Hi, thanks for helping improve the map in Singapore. I notice you've named some grass in Bugis as 'bugis grass patch'. The name tag should only be used for the actual name of features on the map, not for describing them.

Thanks for making these changes. It's great to see another mapper here in Cheltenham. The opening hours you specified for Five Guys don't use the correct syntax. Specifying opening hours can be tricky so I recommend YoHours (http://projets.pavie.info/yohours/). It lets you visually select opening hours, which you can then copy into iD. Thanks :)

Hi, welcome to OpenStreetMap. I'm pleased to see you're editing in Northern Ireland, as the map could definitely use a lot of improvement there. You've added "10 drumnascamph road" as the house name of the school you mapped. As the school only has a number, you can leave the house name field blank. Finally, I notice you've used lowercase in a few places ("drumnascamph road", "st colmans bann", "bt63 6du"). It might seem minor, but please make the effort to use the correct case (e.g. "Drumnascamph Road") and punctuation ("Colman's"). It really makes the map look smarter, not to mention easier to read. Thanks! :)

Hi, I've noticed you've duplicated many existing roads such as Jalan Suryatmajan, Jalan Ketandan Wetan and even Jalan Malioboro. You've also duplicated many other items. As you're new to OSM you might find the iD editor easier to use. Please undo your changes and focus your efforts on mapping missing roads or other features. Thanks.

Thanks for contributing to OpenStreetMap.

I see you've created a node for Gardens by the Bay. This is unnecessary: there is already a labelled area for the gardens. I've removed the node.

You've also created a node for the Sheraton Towers hotel. This is already mapped too, and your node is incorrectly placed on the adjacent road. I've deleted this node too.

Both these nodes have spelling and/or style mistakes ("Garden by the bay" instead of "Gardens by the Bay", and "Towerd" instead of "Towers"). Please take care to use proper spelling and style, as this is really important for making OpenStreetMap look correct, authoritative and professional. Thanks :)

Hi. The finer points of this type of tagging are still not that clear to me so thanks for your explanation. The path in question is private property belonging to Gloucestershire-Warwickshire Railway, so I've removed foot=yes.

Thanks for making this change, been meaning to do it myself for ages. Please connect the path to the High Street--I realise conceptually it only goes to the pavement, but connecting paths to roads is really important for routing and directions. Thanks :)

Sorry to hear about your father passing away.

Thanks for fixing the problems I pointed out, and also thanks for your work in Thailand--I probably benefited from your mapping in Phuket!

I'm glad to see more edits in Cheltenham, but the nodes you've added in this change aren't in the correct place.

You've added them on a narrow residential street. I suspect the registry office is likely to be close to the courts on Saint Georges Road. The Glass House is a residential development somewhere near Saint Georges Road too. I haven't heard of Rivershill House--a quick search suggests it's a new housing development, but it's not where you've marked it, and it's not a tourist attraction.

Note that Cheltenham Circular Footpath does run concurrently with the Cotswold Way for about 500 metres at Wistley Hill.

Accidentally submitted my change with an old comment. Realigned and shortened Haywards Lane slightly, and added a public footpath from the end of the lane to an existing path.

Also added a path to the playground.

I accidentally added the change with the description from my previous change. The description should read:

Added a missing public footpath from Brockhampton Lane to A435.
