They seem to follow many of the 4WD and cycle tracks. I wonder if there are a remanent from the ArcGIS Editor export?

Why are all these un-tagged nodes, such as 4442871141 and similar added? They seem to serve no purpose?

I understand that the Kapiti Expressway is not technically classified as a motorway. It appears that OSM Wiki suggests that highway=trunk could be a more appropriate tag.

There seem to be some issues with the roads in the vicinity of Poplar Avenue, Raumati and the new Kapiti Expressway. This evening I noticed that southbound "way" that passes over Poplar Ave was marked as one-way, but from south to north.

I corrected this, and have been trying to get a journey from Wellington to Auckland use the Expressway with one of the OSM Routing engines. Fail.

Fortunately, it appears that North to South journeys are correctly using the Expressway.

One other thing - I believe that there should be a connector from the Poplar Ave roundabout to the northbound lane of the Expressway. I may be mistaken, but I'm reasonably sure it exists.

Anyway, very happy to help sort this out. Any comments anyone else?
