90728855 | almost 5 years ago | Hi, editing convention for shared paths is highway=cycleway however foot=designated and bicycle=designated also need to be present as these permissions are determined by signage. I've surveyed all the paths along Bringelly Road and the ones that you've changed need to have foot=designated and bicycle=designated, otherwise they are only usable for bicycles by routers since foot access is not implied. |
90725086 | almost 5 years ago | Hi, since theres a ramp on one side, maybe it's better to connect the cycleway to the road and not the other side since it may be useful for accessing/leaving Regent Street https://www.mapillary.com/map/im/7PV42qwNGTDsTnVq3V8OGQ |
90436902 | almost 5 years ago | Based on the lot boundaries on the basemap I would say it's a public road and not a private driveway

90242794 | almost 5 years ago | If you want to redraw the outline then that's fine, you'll want to reuse the geometry of the old building in order to preserve the object history is my suggestion |
90242794 | almost 5 years ago | Hi, has this building been demolished? osm.org/way/680803374/history Cheers, ortho_is_hot |
90114662 | almost 5 years ago | G'day James and welcome to OSM, I've reverted this change in #90146627 as the top is in a different position due to distortion during image capture. In which case the base of the tank is the best location of its physical position on the earth. This wiki section has some more information on the topic: osm.wiki/Roof_modelling#Typical_errors_in_the_interpretation_of_roof_geometry_from_aerial_images If you have any other questions feel free to ask,

90067862 | almost 5 years ago | Also same goes for foot permissions: permissive means it can be used by pedestrians however that right could be revoked by a private landholder (for instance). For a shared path the convention is also to be foot=designated as permission to use it is given by signage. |
90009537 | almost 5 years ago | Hi if I recall correctly, it only becomes 80 near the High Street bridge and is still variably controlled south of that area at 70km/hr |
90000000 | almost 5 years ago | Nice |
89864828 | almost 5 years ago | Hi, there was a point already representing the toilets at this location--i've copied the tags across to the area you made in this changeset osm.org/changeset/89919539 Cheers,
|
89853329 | almost 5 years ago | Hi has this construction been completed yet? Cheers,
|
89804124 | almost 5 years ago | Hi I've reverted this changeset in full: osm.org/changeset/89810646 If you want to redo elements then please do it in one changeset. Otherwise, there's no need to delete the information from the map. Regards,
|
89795450 | almost 5 years ago | No worries just checking, thanks for keeping the area up to date |
89774346 | almost 5 years ago | That story did make a quite a few sites. It's always good to have new users who want to make constructive edits. I suggest you familiarise yourself with the OSM best practices (osm.wiki/Good_practice) and consider editing at a computer, with an editor such as iD which are friendly to new (and existing) users. |
89795450 | almost 5 years ago | Hi there, have the buildings that you've deleted been demolished for new construction? Cheers,
|
89774346 | almost 5 years ago | Agreed, it looks like grass. And let's go msfs |
89772922 | almost 5 years ago | Hi there, I've changed the traffic island areas from area=highway back to area=yes. Cheers,
|
89774346 | almost 5 years ago | Hi there, you've moved the Petersham Reservoir across the street, and a helipad north of the harbour across to a sidewalk. Was this by accident? Cheers,
|
89779719 | almost 5 years ago | Hi there, you've moved a windsock in Sydney and changed one of the seamarks in Sydney Harbour. Since there's no source on the changeset, what is the source for this change? Cheers,
|
89774948 | almost 5 years ago | Hi there, you added a helipad that already existed at North Head. I've gone ahead and removed the duplicate. Cheers,
