Hi nvk. Instead of downloading via the overpass turbo website I suggest you download directly from the (by default hidden) overpass turbo tab in JOSM.

Hi @woodpeck Thanks for the heads up. I removed that one. In a year or two when the satellites have passed again/we get new imagery we can revisit these. The best would of course be an on ground survey but that seems kinda unlikely/hard/dangerous for an outsider to perform. If anyone reading this is living in Xinjiang and is willing to take the risk, be my guest to verify these. I would really like to have an independent UN commission or something working with this to document the extent of the problem on ground and verify that it really is slave work camps.

For those who want to help, in some of the camps there are buildings which is not drawn yet. Find the camps via the overpass query above.

I think we should support as many ways of writing coordinates as possible. E.g. N:39°47’03″ E:78°33’41″ or 39°47’03″ 78°33’41″.

@acsd The javascript resets al input choosen on a side if both is checked AFTER I input something and realise that it applies to both.

I imagine that it is fine to reset it if both sides have changes, but in my usecase I edit one side and then suddenly remember that it applies to both and this results in inputting the whole thing again after checking “both”.

@ikonor thanks for the tip. I recently changed the route from =running to =hiking;running so now it shows up on waymarked trails as well. I contacted the author of waymarked trails to enquire about the possibility of adding a “running” subsite and she was positive about that. :)

@mmd Thanks for the tip about case insensitive search. I did not look it up, but referred to the default when using the wizard on https://overpass-turbo.eu/ (the wizard could definitely be improved with a checkbox for case-insensitive search ticked by default)

Looking for the issue referenced above I found http://ra.osmsurround.org/searchRelation, but unfortunately it lacks information about how recent a snapshot its search is running on and fails to find the relation in question which I added a couple of weeks ago: http://ra.osmsurround.org/searchRelation?name=h%C3%A4rn%C3%B6&relationType=route&route=&ref=&network=&operator=
