Hi jajanja3
Where have you got the alt_name 'Ratcliffe Highway Kent' from on Ways 74517821, 1352739725, 1352739724 & 1352739728.

All Road signs and official docs/plans etc that I have seen only refer to 'Ratcliffe Highway' per the name tag.

Hi jajanja3,
Just a quick reminder to please use meaningful changeset comments instead of just 'Modifying & Creating new features' to describe what you are actually doing (Example: 'Better aligning road to Bing sat imagery and adding trees')

Thanks.

Why have you mapped 'Former Army Cadet School of Music (A.C.S.M.), Chatham' (1329335680), This is no longer military land and is now residential property (apartments)??

Your use of Notes and Descriptions on the Nationwide nodes (I have also seen you use it elsewhere) are not useful. Notes are 'An important hint for other mappers (not for the end user)'. Descriptions may be viewable to the end user (but subject to the specific website/renderer) should be useful info, which on these two items is questionable. Please can you clean up/make relevant??

Hi jajajanja3,
Great to see a new mapper in the area. In the changeset comments please can you provide some specific detail about what you are changing/adding to help others understand what you have added/changed.

Thanks
papaj

I do not see a reservoir 'Couvre Port Reservoir (site of, now disused') here, Sat image show's a derelict structure of some description??

Based on the 'Name' you have entered and sat imagery you should be using a historic/derelict tag.

Map data/tagging should reflect what is 'on the ground' and current state, Not what was here previously.

Please correct and also review other items you have added here (Roman building, for example, I do not see on sat imagery or 'on the ground' )

All signs at the park and Council website simply call this 'Great Lines Heritage Park', Where have you got 'Field of Fire' from?

If this is a historical name this should then be in the 'old_name' tag.

Is there a reason the Walnut Tree club (building and landuse) has been mapped as a multipoloygon instead of a single object?

160457306 8 maande gelede

Why is the pedestrian area - 18447061 mapped as a multipolygon with ~30 individual ways (some consisting of only two nodes)? This should be mapped as a single area. If you are not sure how to use multipolygons and relations correctly please ask at the forums (https://community.openstreetmap.org/c/communities/uk/86)

Same as another of your changeset's, are these path's signed/named 'Eventide Park'? You also cite Bing Aerial as the source for these path's etc but Bing Aerial does not show them yet so not sure where your source is?

Is the basket ball court named 'Basketball Court - Watermill Gardens'? Same with other items in Watermill Gardens (Playareas, footpath etc). Every object does not require a name, You seem to be tagging for the renderer which you should not be doing.

Is service road - 1056410743 actually named 'Medway Innovation Studios'? Are the path's around the buildings/containers named 'Medway Innovation Studios'? Both of these objects typically do not have their own name.

(Related to items along Wood Street & Brompton Road)
I'm confused by your use of barrier=bollard on nodes that are part of way barrier=wall. Can you explain what you have tried to do here? From memory this is a wall with metal fence sections in it?

You have also created a relation to join individual lines to create a grass area? Why if this not a single area? Relations should not be used like this.

Same as another of your changeset's, are these path's signed/named 'Lower Lines'? Normally path's do not have names, especially like here where all the path's cross/interconnect?

159628345 8 maande gelede

Notes/Status should be in their own tag's and not in the name. Did you add to the name so it was rendered? You should never tag for the renderer.

Are these path's physically seperated from the highway? Usual convention is to use the 'sidewalk' tag on the highway to define location etc of the path. Even if the path is seperated, the path itself typically does not have it's own name so the name tag should be removed.

Are these gardens (1247318990 and others nearby) actually named 'Communal Gardens'?
