I started mapping Khammam town thanks to a GPS reciever inside N82 . I am using Nokia Sports Tracker for recording trails. It also allows us to export in GPX format .

@johnsmith: Thank you . I am thinking of using whereami after I start marking places. It will help identify the missing places.
One thing stopping me use whereami is the network bandwith costs associated with GPRS for fetching maps .

I am using geotagged photos to mark places, while in the background I have an app that records the track.
