Hello,

I tried opening the location in JOSM and the reason became apparent: this segment was missing the riverbank part. For a small river, this is not necessary - the stream center is wide enough; for a large river, the stream is only rendered as a narrow line, hence the riverbank area. I have added the riverbank from aerial imagery and it should become visible within a short time. osm.org/way/497499639#map=14/34.9277/-106.6745

For more details on river mapping, this might be of interest: osm.wiki/Tag:waterway%3Driverbank

Hi,
this reminds me of a similar problem in OsmAnd: the section of the Miljacka between this bridge and this bridge only gets rendered as a thin line. (It looks fine on www.openstreetmap.org.) This is strange because the riverbank polygon stretches further beyond either bridge. I haven’t checked other renderers. Has anybody else seen anything like this this anywhere else?

@michalfabik: That seems to be an OSMAnd renderer issue; the map you’re linking to seems to be correct.
