I started to map some streets in Padova.
just some questions:
when i upload a gps trace i an see it while it is pending then it disappear. i cannot undersand why.

You should receive an email telling you success or failure of the import.
The most common reason for failure seems to be a lack of timestamps.

If you are using a Garmin receiver you can not use saved GPS-Traces because the time stamp is not saved along with the track. You can only use "active traces" which have not been saved to a separate file, that are still on the devices memory.
If you like to use one of your saved tracks you have to write in a time stamp for each recorded position. You will find more information on this matter (and a script to "repair" your logs) on this page:

But really, you shouldn't "save" your tracks on a Garmin anyway - it loses vast swathes of detail. Better to use a more conservative recording setting (e.g. every 3s rather than every 1s, or one of the "auto" settings).
