Thanks for the update. I've reported the issue to the council (again!) - only this time with the blockages.

35015175 over 9 years ago

I know there is as I've walked along it !

35015175 over 9 years ago

Just like you don't - you reverted it without waiting for a reply from me. If you're going to be obnoxious about it, it's not my fault you're too blind to see the path. I've put it back in because it is there. I'll now give you directions:
From the railway bridge over Warwick Rd, on the east side of the road, walk NW watching the brick wall on your right. The brick wall reduces in height and then comes to and end. At the end there is a gap. After the gap, there is a wooden gate. Either go through the gap or the wooden gate - along the PATH that is there all the way to Ulverley Green Road. Take your secateurs with you, you'll need them. Cut the vegetation back to reveal the path.

Brian - did you delete the path that runs alongside the railway between Ulverley Green Road and Warwick Rd ?

34960667 almost 10 years ago

Yes indeed. Closed evenings and weekend presumably for security. It's not a publicly advertised entrance.

Feel free to remove all things on OSM that doesn't physically exist then feel free to delete this one.

It's a genuine OSM sandbox for anyone to use to test either map features or editor features. Did you want to come and play in the sand ?

You've also managed to remove Ramsden Square and the correct connections to the feeder roads - they are not like you've made them at all

If you're able to survey it easily then clearly that's the best solution. I don't think I've come across a disused post box on OSM before. If that is the case, I think it best to leave it on OSM and mark as disused as if it were removed, someone else may add it back in without the details ! Cheers.

29969310 about 10 years ago

The fixme related to the position of the box (being in the 'middle' of the road) so I repositioned it to where it really appears to be - hence 'fixed' !
The area seems to be over-populated with boxes but that doesn't mean any are not in use.

Section between A5092 and A590 is signed in white signs - so your change is incorrect. Please revert that bit.

24501122 about 10 years ago

Cheers. Thing is they're there and usable. Cycle stuff often gets neglected. A request to Highways England to clean them up may be in order ?

24501122 about 10 years ago

Thing is, the cycle facilities (4 of them) appear to be there and there are legal possibilities for cyclists to use them. I had a look around to see if they wouldn't be used as there was an alternative - but that doesn't appear to be the case. If they're available on the ground, they ought to be on the map. Are you ok to stick them back in?

How do you know 295524646 is disused ?

30976849 about 10 years ago

Can you find another map that shows this T junction like this ? I can't

28548717 about 10 years ago

I don't see a roundabout on the map. I see two segments of one-way which I presume were wrong and have corrected - none of the roads appear to be one-way - and it wouldn't make sense if they were due to lack of alternatives.
Hopefully I've got the bus route sorted now as well ?

Let me just explain the basic concept of having a map. It is to inform people. If data is buried out of sight, it fails to achieve that and it is pointless adding the data. CURRENTLY that land could possibly be used for residential purposes. If you have an issue with this, decide how you'd prefer to enter it in the database, ensure that in that form it appears on the map then we'll both be happy, perhaps ?

Hi, just moved the surgery name from housename to name. Hopefully the name will now show on the map.

30221010 over 10 years ago

If you check the OSM wiki, you'll see primary routes are 'primary routes' (in red) and not trunk roads (green) - although the 595 is a trunk road further north - as already shown.

30221010 over 10 years ago

Simon, this is not a trunk road, can you please revert your changes, thanks.
