O Mapathon ocorrerá entre Quarta-Feira e Quinta-Feira, 13 e 14 de Novembro, entre 19:00hs e 22:00hs.

O Mapathon é um evento liderado pela UMAPE-OSM União dos Mapeadores de Pernambuco e que os participantes usam o OpenStreetMap (OSM) para mapear áreas em necessidades, onde os dados ajudarão a contribuir para a ajuda humanitária internacional e Local. Muitas dessas áreas são vulneráveis ​​a desastres naturais e mudanças climáticas, e o entendimento de sua geografia é importante para a maneira como a ajuda é fornecida. Qualquer lugar do mundo pode ser mapeado, mas a prioridade vai para as Cidades de Pernambuco.

Este Mapathon se concentrará na Melhoria dos CEP´S de Ruas e Avenidas de Cidades de Pernambuco fazendo com que os CEP´S fique no padrão aceitável no Brasil.

Mapathon will take place between Wednesday and Thursday, November 13 and 14, between 7:00 pm and 10:00 p.m.

Mapathon is an event led by umape-OSM Union of Mappers of Pernambuco and that participants use OpenStreetMap (OSM) to map areas in needs, where data will help contribute to international and local humanitarian aid. Many of these areas are vulnerable to natural disasters and climate change, and understanding their geography is important for how aid is provided. Anywhere in the world can be mapped, but the priority goes to the Cities of Pernambuco.

This Mapathon will focus on improving the ZIP Codes of Streets and Avenues of Cities of Pernambuco making the ZIP Codes look at the acceptable standard in Brazil.
