Please avoid adding generic names to buildings. For example, to add a house, building=house is sufficient: no need to add name=house.

Oh thanks, I never noticed! I only saw some smaller towns where the entire built-up central area was tagged as residential (example: osm.org/way/637956797). The approach you're describing makes more sense though! Thank you

Out of curiosity, why are only some areas tagges as residential as opposed to (almost) the entire city? Is the difference on purpose or because those are the areas you've surveyed? Thanks!

FYI, this POI already existed but it hadn't been moved when the cafe moved. For the sake of preserving history, I've deleted the new node you created and moved the old node to the new location (and updated its address): osm.org/changeset/162768564

This is not good practice. The node that was deleted was an older representation of the POI, and it should have been moved instead of copying its tags over to the newer node (which was a duplicate and should have been deleted).

This was mapped based on GPS tracks recorded hours earlier on a long survey walk through the park. Unfortunately the tracks were not always the most accurate (I blame trees) and is some room for improving accuracy.

Makes sense! I gave it a go, what do you think about osm.org/changeset/162017863? I'm also wondering whether it makes sense to extend the parks to the edges of the residential areas, but I don't think that's as useful since it doesn't have any routing implications.

I was thinking of connecting the footpaths in the small parks to the roads, to let routers know it's possible to walk through (e.g. if going by foot from 74, Phan Khiêm Ích to 100, Đường số 2, it's faster to walk through the footpaths). I don't have a GPS track though, do you think it's okay if I just connect them perpendicularly to the roads?

cuisin=vegan should be avoided (osm.wiki/Key:cuisine#Discouraged_values), in fact this is now the only place tagged cuisine=vegan on all of OSM (https://overpass-turbo.eu/?w=%22cuisine%22%3D%22vegan%22+global&R). Could we use another value here?

(diet:vegan=only is sufficient to tag a vegan restaurant)

This is a new footbridge across the Xa Lo Ha Noi highway (formerly Vo Nguyen Giap). It runs through the Thao Dien metro station. There are several access stairways: on both sides of the metro station (North: Exit 1, South: Exit 3), on both "Song Hanh Xa Lo Ha Noi" secondary roads (North: Exit 2, south of the highway: unnamed stairway) and on the west side of the curve of Tran Nao (unnamed stairway).

The stairways should be connected to the existing road network's sidewalks, I'm not sure how to do this (requested a review for the edit). The section that goes through the metro station should probably also be retagged, since it's not only a pedestrian bridge at this point but rather the metro station's hall.
