do you also know OsmHydrant? It tries to ease adding/editing hydrants and water tanks in OpenStreetMap.

Very interesting QT-application. I’ll definitely give it a try!

@nfgusedautoparts: I’ve experienced the same problem several times, but I was not able to find the root cause of this issue. Reloading the site always solved the problem.

@Stalfur: There are hydrants in Iceland. This was a bug related to negative lat/lon values. Now this is fixed!

Mapping Hydrants

Hello, I’ve put some website online that makes the process of adding & editing fire hydrants in OpenStreetMap a lot easier. I tried to make the entry barrier for firefighters as low as possible. It can be used from desktop as well as from tablets or smartphones.
