Ich hab das building=yes mal wieder hinzugefügt, Gebäude scheint ja noch zu existieren, auch wenn kein edeka mehr drin ist.

Offenbar ist hier osm.wiki/Key:area:highway die richtigere Vorgehensweise…? Auf jeden Fall wird highway=residential + area=yes nicht von Mapnik gerendert, und für Routenplaner ist es (im generellen Fall) auch schwieriger zu handhaben. Zur Not vllt. beides, ein area:highway und ein highway=residential als getrennte Geometrien?

This does not look right, Mokuhankan is the print shop two buildings further away, not a clothes store; also adding the tourism=artwork tag doesn't look right. I've reverted the change in osm.org/changeset/133679683

Ebenso brand=Edeka gesetzt, damit es zum brand:wikidata passt. "E-Center" wird nirgendwo auf der Edeka-Homepage benutzt.

Ah ok. Dass das auch für Abzweigstellen genutzt werden kann, war mir noch nicht bewusst.

osm.org/node/10267398727 und osm.org/node/10287765687 sind hier als "railway=stop" getaggt, ist das beabsichtlichgt? Normalerweise halten hier ja keine Züge. Es gibt auch schon osm.org/node/1863801818/history als railway=junction.

Ich sehe grad das "review requested"-Flag, und dass hier noch niemand reviewt hat 🙂 Ich hab mal in die Verkehrsmengenkarte Niedersachsen von 2015 geschaut [1], dort ist die L295 von Braunschweig bis Wolfsburg mit täglichen Verkehrsmengen zwischen 9700/Tag und 13900/Tag angegeben. Laut Wiki [2] ist für highway=primary eine Zahl von 10.000 Kfz/Tag angegeben. Seit 2015 hat sich ja in der Gegend nichts groß geändert, die A39 war auch damals schon bis Wolfsburg erfasst, ich denke, das Tagging kommt also hier ganz gut hin.

What you meant by "Schutzhütte" is probably covered by osm.wiki/Tag:tourism%3Dwilderness_hut ?

According to osm.wiki/Tag:tourism=alpine%20hut?uselang=en:
"An alpine hut is a remote building located in the mountains intended to provide board and lodging. […] Required properties:
• Remote building found in mountains (not only the Alps) [obviously the case here]
• The access is usually restricted to foot, mountain bike or ski. [also given here]
• You will find food, shelter and sleeping places"

As for the last part, I was planning a possible multi-day hiking tour, and tried to find out which of these huts were offering accomodation. For the ones that I changed in osm.org/changeset/126422988, I didn't find anything in that regard mentioned on their homepage or on the karwendel.de list (which listed them explicitely as "only restaurant, no accomodation"). The only exception was Höttinger Alm, which was listed on karwendel.de as "offers accomodation", but had a note on their homepage that they are not offering accomodation in 2022, which I read as an exception due to Covid, and that they were normally offering accomodation. So I left the tourism=alpine_hut in place, as well as the amenity=restaurant.

Wait. osm.org/node/524217582/history already had both amenity=restaurant and tourism=alpine_hut, but you're saying the two should be different POIs because they have different owners/are different companies?

Thanks for the pointer to the separate discussion. I was of the impression that the alpine hut and the restaurant described the same item, but if the restaurant has a different owner, then the principle I cited doesn't apply here. I will revert this edit, and be more careful in the future when working without local knowledge.
