135204372 | over 2 years ago | Thanks, I'm afraid that the project to use contractors to conflate TfLCID data with OSM on behalf of TfL resulted in same very low quality edits. Fortunately, they appear to have quietly abandoned it, but there's still a lot to fix. |
135194119 | over 2 years ago | Rather than using opening_hours=closed, there's the option of using a lifestyle prefix for features which are no longer open, or have been removed entirely. StreetComplete will prompt passing users to re-check some of these at intervals. In this case, you could consider changing shop=toys to disused:shop=toys and possibly add check_date=2023-04-21 |
135185390 | over 2 years ago | Hi, welcome to OpenStreetMap and thanks for adding your business to the map. I've moved the address and contact details from the description to the appropriate OSM tags and added the tag shop=travel_agency. This helps map users and data consumers find you. |
135140253 | over 2 years ago | Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Thanks for spotting that and updating the map. You asked for a review of your edit and it looks fine to me. |
32781122 | over 2 years ago | Subjectively, it might not be suitable for walking, or fun to walk along. However, it is not prohibited: there are no TSRGD Diagram 625.1 "Pedestrians prohibited" signs. |
135082845 | over 2 years ago | Please don't add fiction to the map. Fully reverted in osm.org/changeset/135087390 #DWG

134954248 | over 2 years ago | Thanks for adding it! It may take a couple of week before routing services start to use it. |
134887560 | over 2 years ago | No need to apologise! I just wanted to double check, as some people will filter on vegan only in apps which use that tag. I've restored it to "only" in changeset #134916778. There's a little more information on the diet:vegan tag in the wiki page linked below. If it's something that's of interest to you, there's also a tagging scheme for zero-waste shops. |
134887560 | over 2 years ago | Hi, welcome to OpenStreetMap and thanks for updating the map. Could I ask why you have changed Pipoca from diet:vegan=only to diet:vegan=yes? This implies that they also sell non-vegan products. |
134863738 | over 2 years ago | Hi, welcome to OpenStreetMap and many thanks for updating the house details here. You asked for a review and it looks fine to me. The only thing which you may want to change is the addr:housenumber tag. There are several ways to tag a building with multiple house numbers (link below), but as another local mapper has already been using a comma, setting it to "29,31" may be the best choice. |
134862018 | over 2 years ago | Thanks! |
134843766 | over 2 years ago | I'm surprised to see that the US Embassy "moat" has been replaced by a car park. When did that happen? |
134857024 | over 2 years ago | OpenStreetMap is a real world map, used by routing services. Please don't add imaginary features with tags you clearly do not understand. Reverted in osm.org/changeset/134858461 |
134789227 | over 2 years ago | The gate was already (and correctly) tagged as access=private, why change it to access=no? You could add locked=yes if that seems appropriate.
|
87928982 | over 2 years ago | Unfortunately, continuous=yes + sidewalk=yes was never discussed or documented, so no data consumer would have processed these tags without a highway=crossing tag, even if they had been connected to highway=* ways. This is fortunate, as many (or even most) of the "side road entry treatments" surveyed for TfLCID are not continuous sidewalks, but normal pedestrian crossings with a speed table and/or flush kerbs. |
121239871 | over 2 years ago | Importing barriers without attempting to ascertain the barrier type or correct access tags from the available aerial and streetside imagery is unhelpful. On the plus side, as they were not connected to highway=* ways, no routing errors resulted from incorrect access tags.

134765114 | over 2 years ago | We enjoyed those sections a few weeks ago. Luckily we were all wearing trail or fell running shoes and got away with nothing worse than damp socks. Ideal footwear for that section of the New River Path is probably 15mm cross country spikes at the moment :-) |
