Hello, I see you modified the classification here. I won't disagree with your change of the primary road (although it is the primary way across the island, hence my tagging). However, you also changed the segment going NW to path when it appears to be used by motor. I'll change those segments to residential for now until they can be surveyed.

Thank you SootCanal - I am a local mapper and that Mapillary pic is useful but was during construction. I can attest that it doesn't look like that anymore, it's actually 2 lanes in & 2 out; though they typically only have one operational in each direction. Point being, is it isn't 'fully' map-able yet as Infina Towers isn't 100% complete and for navigation you're still coming in and out via the broader 'gate structure'. It's fine as is but I'll try to update it more properly in the near future with guard station, etc.

Hello, this edit doesn't seem to help much, I had already added the service road (as one) coming into Infina Towers. I know there is a guard station that separates the incoming vs. outgoing lanes but I think that is unnecessary at this point since it isn't visible in any default imagery. Also, I'm using the barrier=gate at the node where the gate is vs. along the entire roadway which I think it more accurate. Thanks!

This particular one is 'complete' - although could likely use some more detail along Highway 24 around Woodland Park (and elsewhere depending on how detailed you want to go). However, there's lots more forested area in Colorado that is not mapped yet (i.e. see west of the continental divide) - if you're interested, just dive in; there's a channel on the US Slack to discuss #forest-mapping if you'd like to discuss/learn more.

I went ahead and did a partial revert of your edits. This hopefully fixed the BLM boundary (I had to guess on a few points since the revert did not fully put back to former geometry).

Hi MountainAddict - It appears you changed the boundary of the BLM land while trying to 'add landuse' to the Buena Vista KOA. I don't think that's what was intended, but if you have source that the BLM boundary has actually changed there, please do share.

Hi rab and ftcat, I don't know much about this project - I just saw it was very close to 100% validated (1st/normal pass). Typically if a project will get a 3rd pass it is by only a few more experienced validators, so if we make them aware of the imagery, they should still be able to improve things like road classification consistency, etc. However, I am not involved in managing this project; you can find the project number in the original changeset comment and then either leave a message there, or find the author and message them direct.

Hi, just a note that your changeset comment originated from a project in Sierra Leone. Make sure you are providing an accurate description of what you mapped. In this case it should be something like 'added roads in Mazar I Sharif. Thank you!

Frans, this is Russ but no worries :) Thanks for the heads up, I aligned everything to the existing mapping but forgot the last step to move into alignment with MAXAR. Fixed now.

Hi Mike, the data is generated using satellite imagery, basically MAXAR Premium, which can be several years old. Looking at this 'road' it does look like in the past it was much more of a road but still shows up kind of looking like a path in the more recent imagery (still probably a few years back). If you have local knowledge, feel free to update this to it's current use/condition. Happy Mapping!

Hi Emma, just noticing - lots of your roads are connected to buildings and have a weird loop at the end. Not sure how that's happening, but maybe slow down and a bit (and zoom in further) when you get to the villages/structures to make sure you are not connecting roads to buildings. Looking pretty good otherwise (classification is always difficult, check osm.wiki/Highway_Tag_Africa for more help there). Happy Mapping!

Hi, while reviewing the project it appears maybe you had a very offset imagery set or something, looking at Bing, DG and Mapbox imagery I don't see any buildings in this area. I have gone ahead and removed the buildings but do let me know if somehow you are using more recent imagery or otherwise how you determined there were buildings here.

Hi @rab - I was/am confused; is there something wrong with my changeset? Or are you just alerting me to this other changest? I see you commented there, but is there now a river missing that you previously mapped? Do we need to revert (partially) that other changeset? Looks like a very new mapper that maybe needs some constructive guidance.

Hi, it seems you traced roads from a high zoom level where roads existed traces much more accurately. I am exploring maybe reverting this changeset and others. Please make sure you are contributing high quality edits that are not in conflict with existing data.
