Hey there, thank you for your comment! I try to use my GPS traces and street-level images whenever I could, and as far as I noticed Bing imagery is usually closer to reality. Still, I’m new to this thing and my GPS devices might be imprecise :/

I’m also trying to use the cadastral data when it’s available, but unfortunately that’s not always the case (and sometimes it’s also imprecise when I compare it to the street-level imagery). I’m thinking about sourcing the positioning data from multiple sources (like Esri + cadastral data). What would you recommend?

(Whoops, obviously it's Dumfries and Galloway, not Ayrshire - but this applies well to all small Scottish towns, I guess)

For whatever reason, I didn't pay attentiont that it's `house=terraced`, not `building=terraced` :)

Do you reckon I should change the terraced houses I already mapped to `building=house`?

I noticed that some of your changes span the entire globe - it helps to make them more localised so that people can look them up in the 'History' tab. In this case, I could see these changes in history for small towns in the United Kingdom which I assume was not your intention. :)

Also, please do use meaningful changeset comments - “a” does not help other mappers understand what you are doing. You can find guidance on good changeset comments in the OSM wiki: osm.wiki/Good_changeset_comments
