pondering import of wind farms ߊ߬ ߟߊߦߟߍ߬ߣߍ߲߬ ߦߋ߫ scruss ߓߟߏ߫ 30 July 2010 ߦߋ߫ English ߟߋ߬ ߘߐ߫ I've surveyed over 100 wind turbines in Ontario. Just wondering how I can import the points.

If you used a gps device, you can open your gpx file in potlatch and add them there.

You'd use the following for each turbine;
power=generator
power_source=wind

thanks, nmixter, but would't potlatch expect me to drag a new symbol over each point? That would get old after the third unit or so.

Upload your GPS with one 1 trackpoint and all the wind farms as way points, then you can edit in Potlatch.
Or try Josm.

I managed to convert the waypoints to OSM using GPSBabel, and then uploaded via josm - thanks!
