Hi. Be great to talk with others editing in the area, as there must be a range of things we could gain from it.
However, addresses as nodes vs ways is about 50:50 looking at the data. I do tend to map them as ways while I'm adding data, doing other QC, etc. I aim to get streets 100% mapped with postcodes, geometry, etc sorted as I work through them. Grateful to others who survey and add address nodes, but they are rarely complete - together we get there. Ultimately it makes no odds, but I clearly prefer one way.

So - maybe private was the wrong value. The signage is definitely Access Only and refers to the school - will double check exact wording next time I pass, but change was made after riding down there and checking out the signage, etc. access-customers probably better.
Your revert also changed back some needed geometry changes; I'll try to unpick and correct things without undoing your other changes in the same set.

Ok. I think I agree with you. Trouble is that some of the routing engines will now take cyclists on Hill Barton rd/Pinhoe rd. There's probably not a good tagging scheme for "this is a cycle route, but you have to walk across the road here" that works with routers. If only they's properly consider cyclists when designing junctions!

Yes, definitely no stops on the ground, agree. I am updating other stops/bus routes, etc and got a bit carried away with these ones I think! I'll revert, as no actual stops present.

Hello. Building or nodes with some address details (postcode at least) that did not already have post town. Not every building will be addressable, and don’t want to add data to anything that someone hadn’t already started adding address tags through survey, etc. hopefully by doing so, people will follow and be more comprehensive in address tagging. Having house name/number, street, postcode and post town makes for a useful dataset.

The addr:city tag is used to determine the post town element of the postal address. Does not mean the place in question is a city in the accepted sense. See osm.wiki/Addresses_in_the_United_Kingdom
